"Some more interesting insight into Gov. Romney:
After going to both Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School simultaneously, he passed the Michigan bar, but never worked as an attorney. As a venture-capitalist, Romney’s first major business deal involved investing in a start-up office supply company with one store in Massachusetts that sold office supplies. That company, called Staples, now has over 2,000 stores and employs over 90,000 people. Romney or his company Bain Capital (using what became known as the “Bain Way”) would go on to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and again, with companies like Domino’s, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply, and many others…
Got your calculators handy? Let’s recap. Volunteer campaign worker for his dad’s gubernatorial campaign – 1 year. Unpaid intern in Governor’s office – 8 years. Mormon missionary in Paris – 2 years. Unpaid bishop and stake president for his church – 10 years. No salary as president of the Olympics – 3 years. No salary as MA governor – 4 years. That’s a grand total of 28 years of unpaid service to his country, his community and his church. Why? Because that’s the kind of man Mitt Romney is."

^^^ no man I have ever heard of worked without pay let alone 28 years of no pay! I am impressed.. thank you insidedge.. this was more than proof.. Romney will never be a bought and paid for politician.. as Obama has always been and always will be..
That's very cool Loxy....I honestly haven't studied Mormonism enough to get the whole anti-mormon thing....had an aunt who converted and she went from a biatch to a nice lady and her kids changed into decent humans too....I have never met a Mormon who wasn't salt of the earth...fine upstanding people...and their woman are generally pretty too....Loxy3 wrote:patruth wrote:Romney was in Pittsburgh yesterday and he made an appearance at our local community center. having babysat for his brother & his wife, I met Mitt Romney and his wife at their home when they were going out together when they were in town several times. All of them seemed very genuine and very down to earth. They were very good parents, and they were also generous, always giving me a big tip at the end of the evening. I then went on to work for the resort company he was president of for the next 7 years. The company was good to its employees but when he left, the atmosphere was not as family oriented. (no, I didn't tell HR I knew them to get hired.) I know I knew his brother mostly, but from the few times I did see Mitt, his wife & kids, they seemed to both be very similar in values, caring, showed a geniune interest in my life, and down to earth, just as his brother and his wife.
Oh, and never once did they mention they were mormon.

Take your low-life attitude back to where you came from on the Lib-Dem boards.
They will applaud you for it like Birds of a Feather always do.

Nobody here will ever need to lower themselves to your level. So you will never get anyone to apologize for telling the truth. But you should write to Obama, and ask him to apologize to you.
That will happen much faster.
