So, now that I have been singled out as an overbearing moderator on the Canadian boards...

I started reading some of the threads on there. I am STILL frustrated by Sammy's insistence to, how do I put this? Speak unfavorably about Mitt Romney & almost approving & supportive of Barack Hussein Obama.

BUT, Sammy is defending the conservative PM of Canada (BTW - he is Canadian for those who don't know) and harassing the liberals on the Canadian boards. I see this forum as moderated by the mods (that would be me, d, nneo, mb, schmittles & lynne when she is around) and open to community standards.

The community spoke & the mods listened. But I am starting to think we need to reconsider.

He may be a "centrist" insofar as American politics go, but he is certainly a Canadian conservative. We will probably (like 99% chance) keep the "cooling off" period in effect until after Mitt beats Barry in November, but I want to see what y'all think AND let you know that I plan to advocate for welcoming him back when the time is right.

I didn't mind Sammy but the anti-Romney boards on Rep/Con after he was the chosen candidate is a little.. offputting. I don't care for Romney either nor do a number of others here but there aren't a ton of boards created here about it because there is no reason to do so other than trying to cause problems.

I wouldn't even mind seeing a poster from here making anti-Romney boards on OpED so long as they aren't doing it on the Rep/Con board and they can obviously back-up through other ways that they belong on the Rep/Con board. Disliking the chosen candidate doesn't mean you do not belong here after all.

If you want to post crap like that then go find a forum that invites that brand of stupidity. And I cannot remember one instance in which a serious answer came to a serious question nor did I ever once see anything conservative coming out of him. Having good natured fun is one thing but passive- aggressiveness as shown by that individual is just plain annoying.

The alien doesn't belong on the con/repub boards. What is a conservative in Canada apparently isn't the same as a conservative in the US.

1. The alien bashes Romney in favor of Obama
2. The alien has expressed support for Hillary
3. The alien has expressed support for Lieberman
4. The alien has expressed support for ObamaCare and universal federal healthcare
5. The alien has expressed little regard for the US Constitution, believing it should be rewritten/interpreted to today's will of the people

Taken as a whole, this demonstrates the alien's consistent lack of conservative/Republican credibility. It does not belong on these boards.

I have always liked Sammy.. and as an alien or person I will always like him..

but his views are most surely conflicting with this board when he does support Obama in his threads.. I don't have a problem as most here don't if another conservative doesn't like a candidate.. but when he goes to the extreme of supporting Obama and other democrats.. which he does.. NO!

I don't know if Sammy can control himself if Obama wins or loses in Nov if he came back in.. too hard to say.. guess we'll have to cross that bridge when we get there..

Only when looked as from the American point of view, From a Canadian point of view he is very Conservative.
