Don't pack too much stuff! 

As the first major U.S. carrier to charge a fee to check a second bag on international flights, Atlanta-based Delta’s move could spur other carriers to consider adding the fee as well.

That's not all that unreasonable when you consider the price to fedex overnight the same suitcase costs almost as much as a one way ticket for a human being.
