HAGATNA, Guam — Hillary Clinton has overwhelmingly won the vote on the tiny U.S. island of Guam.

The territory, located west of the international date line, is 15 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time and bills itself as “Where America’s Day Begins.”

With 32,071 voters casting ballots, Democrat Clinton received 71.63% of the vote. Republican Donald Trump received 24.16%, and Socialist candidate Emidio Soltysik — the only third-party candidate on the ballot — received 4.22%.

Guam is loaded with US military personnel. My brother was stationed there some years ago.
This kind of blows a hole in the idea that the military is strongly opposed to Mrs Clinton.

Loaded? 6,000 and I would expect most to vote by absentee ballot.

Even though the people in Guam (and Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands) are US citizens, their vote does not count.

Yet in Washington DC votes do count and they have 3 votes in the electoral college.

Time to allow "Territory Votes"! (at least in the popular vote).

Is it a state? Then no, and that goes for Wash, DC as well.
