His triumph over Hillary Clinton will end eight years of Democratic dominance of the White House and threatens to undo major achievements of President Barack Obama. He's pledged to act quickly to repeal Obama's landmark health care law, revoke the nuclear agreement with Iran and rewrite important trade deals with other countries, particularly Mexico and Canada.

There are so many landmark outcomes of this victory. The supreme court will now have generations of Republican influence to guide our country. Hopefully our military will rebuild and snuff ISIS from existence. Eight years of Republican influence backed by a majority senate and house. Everything should flow smoothly as a result of no opposition. VP Pence looks good for another eight years following President Trump taking the nation into 2033.

Michael Moore did. He warned all not to underestimate. But they did anyway. So many on this forum had guaranteed a Clinton landslide, bragged about eight years of Clinton rule, claimed that Ma Barker had a "lock" on the election, and even claimed that the bookies had called a Clinton win with astronomical odds, and did Nate Silver at one time give Clinton an 80% chance of winning?

How about that old professor who had predicted every president since 1984 and everyone laughed at him? How about my favorite poll...LA Times who was the only poll to favor Trump? They had it right for Obama and now were once again correct for Trump. I want you to remember the LA Times poll four years from now because if I am able I will be quoting them again.

Now we just wait to see if Obama tries to declare Martial Law.

He will not. The election results are not unclear.

It is called zugzwang. Every attempt to cure the situation just makes it even worse. The US sits on the top of the World globalization distem it created. The US has benefitted much from it, but now it turbed against the US. But its elimination will bring even more trouble. Now Trump promised to destroy this very system which feeds the US. If he succeeds - there will be sharp collapse, if not - the situation will keep deteriorating with the same collapse but a little later.

So they have apparently decided in favor of this sort of "gracious" victory celebration from his most high-profile supporters on the fringe:

You shouldn't. The LA Times poll got it wrong. It had Trump up by three points. In fact, Hillary is only down by about a half a percent and she's likely to actually win the popular vote when all is said and done. California is only half counted. The Times poll was way off.

Maybe now we can get a Constitutional Convention to abolish the E.C. and revamp other outdated provisions of the Constitution? Granted, it may be too late for that.

Very astonishing it was. We are an evenly divided country, lets hope Mr Trump can help bridge that and bring us together.

Good it's over... fan Fracking tastic...

Now fix the country.

Trump needs to focus more so on the male vote. He should have nationalized the Boy Scouts when they decided to admit girls.

If you look at the poll as a prediction of a winner then it was the only poll that did that. Every other poll got embarrassed.

Not really. A poll showing her winning by one would be significantly more accurate than a poll showing her losing by three. The LA Times was definitely not the most accurate poll. The IBD/TIPP two-way poll that showed her up by one was probably about the most accurate.
