Steve Mnuchin for treasury secretary, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for attorney general and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani as homeland security secretary, are a few of the early speculations.

Also, Insurance company CEO John Ridings Lee, 79, has been advising Trump on health insurance while oil tycoon Harold Hamm, 70, has Trump’s ear on energy policy, Politico reported. On trade, Trump seeks advice from former steel executive Dan DiMicco, 66. Forrest Lucas, head of Lucas Oil, is a possible candidate for interior secretary although Politico noted Donald Trump Jr. is interested in that job.

Wait a minute, an oil man for Secretary of the Interior? I don't suppose a man with just a bit more affection for the interior would be appreciated?

Sounds an awful lot like an oligarchy.

On second thought, it sounds a awful lot like a white male oligarchy.

Maybe, but with Ma Barker we could have had a female oligarchy.

It wouldn't hurt to perhaps a few women or minorities, I'm assuming he'll get advice on competent personnel to consider.

Dick Cheney's energy committee was similarly dominated by the oil industry. The tradition of putting foxes in charge of the henhouse is one that goes back at least as far as the Eisenhower administration. Its results haven't been all bad. Working relations with the industries directly effected by a cabinet office isn't a bad thing and although the secretary may serve as a high-level lobbyist for his peers, cabinet secretaries don't make the big decisions.

The Trump strategy is to be energetically pro-business in a policy based on massive tax cuts and weakened regulation in the expectation that the resultant explosive growth will fuel the necessary programs to aid his political base: those white guys without college degrees who have fallen behind in today's economy. In essence, it is Reaganomics. Will it work? It didn't work for Reagan but Trump is counting on shutting the gates to foreign trade to provide added boost.

It'll be as CEO-heavy as his Supreme Court will be KKK-heavy. No doubt about that. Enjoy the ride, America.

The person that deserves the big credit (blame?) for this is Kelleyanne Conway.
