Trump graciously praised Hillary Clinton. He did the same with President Barack Obama, whom he met with at the White House on Thursday. Obama and Trump did an eerily realistic impression of two people who had just had an enjoyable and productive meeting, one that ran much longer than it was scheduled for. Somebody is talking to Bloomberg News about the productive relationship that is likely to exist between Trump and Sen. Chuck Schumer, the likely Democratic minority leader in the Senate. Trump has only been a Republican since 2012. He has changed political parties at least five times in his adult life. The only policy issue on which he has expressed consistent views through the decades is trade.

Liberalism and conservatism is a 20th century paradigm. This is the age of nationalism.
Skipping leg day is the equivalent of a woman having an abortion. You're ashamed of it, and it was probably unnecessary.

He could have been an either one or the other choice for the liberals but they would have to receive an academy award for best actor category.

To be fair, I called him a plant who was put there to get Clinton elected. The Democrats and Trump alike are stunned that he actually won.

Trump is a positive optimist. He was confident that he would win from day one. He always said, "We are going to win this one, folks." He often stated that he was way up in the polls. What most did not know was that he was running internal polls probably thanks to Kellyanne. He could end up moving further left than any republican before him. That should be ok as long as he lives up to some of his campaign promises.

Trump has departed from conservative orthodoxy in the areas of banking regulation, Social Security and Medicare, trade deals, college affordability, and rebuilding infrastructure. He is solidly in the conservative camp in matters of taxes, immigration and military policy. He has a left foot and a right foot. This may be a formula for a successful presidency.
Conservatism is a social disease

The meltdown from that happening (among certain types who support him) would be epic and beautiful.
