If California ever did manage to leave would we take bets on how long it would take them to realize they couldn't make it on their own and would fail miserably?
I don't endorse secession, but I'm curious as to why you think that? California is a net contributor to the federal budget, we kick in about $20-30 billion a year in federal taxes that we don't get back in federal expenditures. If we dumped $30 billion more a year into the state coffers, we could have some of the best roads, bridges, airport, ports, and other infrastructure in the world. And the only country we'd have to defend against would be the United States, which would never invade a neighboring country for no reason, right? We could be the new Canada.
I support an independent California...It would be a noble experiment in Liberal ideology, like Venezuela............ Do you know who runs California right now? The Democrats. The Republicans haven't had a significant say in how our state is run for years now, since soon after Governor Schwarzenegger left office. And you know what? Overall we're doing pretty well. Our state budget is balanced. The budget comes in on time, unlike back when Republicans would dick around trying to hold the budget hostage to force concessions out of the Democrats. And the state economy is doing pretty darn well, particularly when compared to those states run by Republicans, like Kansas and Wisconsin.
While I don't support our leaving the Union, I think it would be worse for the Union than it would be for us, given that California represents about 1/8 of the U.S. gross domestic product all by itself.
Arizona, on the other hand, could cease to exist tomorrow and pretty much no one who doesn't have relatives living there would notice.

"wall of debt" Yes, please talk to me about debt. Because Donald Trump is taking office with a national debt of nearly $20 trillion and his first priorities upon taking office are $1 trillion in new "infrastructure" spending and a significant cut in federal tax income, because we're just not paying our national bills enough already. Amiright?
Republicans are all about fiscal responsibility, when Democrats are in office.

That cutting federal revenues and increasing federal expenditures makes sense just like it didn't under the Bush administration? No matter how "brilliant" you think Trump is, demanding fiscal responsibility only when the opposing party controls the federal government is about stupid.

I live in California and no one is talking about it. This State is not going anywhere. It will still be a part of the country four years from now when competence returns to the White House to undue the damage that is about to come.
Donald Trump defeated the entire political order; he is going nowhere.
Oh, his damage will extend past the four years. I completely recognize that. ^^^^ Hates America, cheers for failure^^^^

I live in California and no one is talking about it.
Talk it up C...Maybe it will take some of the heat off Texas. I can send you some SECEDE bumper stickers to get the ball rolling.
There is no, infidelism, protestantism, or renegadeism, for California. The State of California is an inseparable part of the United States of America, and the United States Constitution is the supreme law of the land. Okay....Why was that poster exterminated ?????...Why isn't there an obituary ???...Has his face been erased from photos like in Stalin's time ????.........

The State of Arizona has no debt........... Of course Arizona has no debt, with a gross domestic product of less than $300 million no one would loan them money anyway.

No. You wish it. No, but that goes with the sickness of how you think to even come up with that.
Exactly by the way what you supported but did not have the ability to show up for.
But hey. At least you are admitting that real damage is coming.

Donald Trump took down the Republican establishment, the democratic establishment, the foreign policy failed elite, Wall Street, Hollywood, and Corporate America and defeated them all. He'll dispense with these nongendered perpetual children without a sweat. A good and decent America is next on President-elect Trump's 'take-down' list.
Already in motion.
