Voting for Trump was a form of expressing one's bigotry and hatred
The definition of bigotry is intolerance towards those who hold different opinions from oneself.

Atta, your post above proves are a bigot.
That's not what bigotry is

Bigotry is hatred towards people of different ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, things a person can't help being born of

Intolerance of another's opinion is acceptable, especially if their opinions express bigotry and hatred. I dont have to tolerate nazis
Conservatives have never understood the difference between intolerance and racial bigotry. That's why they could so easily vote for a racist for president.

Just because you had a problem with Hillary doesnt justify your voting for a racist bigot. There were other, third party candidates you could have voted for, or do as some here have done, an abstained

Trump voters came in two varieties - bigots and morons. The bigots knew what he was talking about, the morons thought he was gonna make America great because it said so on his hat

The dopey phrase I hear conservative mouth goes like ''I thought liberals are supposed to be tolerant!''

A liberal tolerates people's differences like race, ethnicty, etc because those are things they have no choice over, or religious beliefs as long as those beliefs dont encroach on our freedoms

Opinions and ideas are not automatically tolerated, in fact some opinions and thinking are to be challenged, resisted and deemed not acceptable and dangerous. Your race, ethnicity you dont choose, your thinking is a choice. You are not bound by birth to be a nazi or a klansman, and I dont have to tolerate their ideology

President-elect Donald J. Trump’s picks for top behind-the-scenes advisers are roiling Washington. Now there are statistics to back the rising concerns.

Hate crimes surge, led by attacks on Muslims.

The F.B.I. reported Monday that attacks against American Muslims rose last year, driving an increase of about 7 percent in hate crimes against all victims.
This is our country now. Okay to hate. Okay to persecute. Okay to disrespect.

Marxists have taught for over a century that racism and bigotry are feature of class struggle. The white Americans who are enraged over hispanic immigration, Black Lives Matter demonstrations etc. are not all Ku Klux Klan terrorists waiting to go out and burn black churches as soon as it gets dark enough.

They are, in their own minds at least, striking back defensively at groups they believe have unjustly taken advantage of them. The argument may be weak factually but the feelings are real and their sense of marginalization and decline have real basis. The ruling class has been using minority "other" as a whipping boy for decades. Blaming the immigrants, the welfare moms etc. distracts the angry mob. The alternative is shifting a larger share of the nation's wealth to the middle and lower classes. Who wants that?

Voting for Trump was the expression of the desire not to see a super liberal SCOTUS. Bigotry and hate had nothing to do with it.
Bigotry and hate most certainly drove President-elect Trump's campaign. It framed his message and gathered haters to his camp. The push for the Supreme Court that most certainly was also a part as well is about removing Constitutional Rights from Americans; a move fully supported by conservatives.

None of this is a positive for freedom or the heart of what this nation claims to be.

According to the FBI report, a Muslim gunning down 4 dozen homosexuals is not an official hate crime...It is an expression of Muslim culture....I expect big changes in FBI reports with Trump as President........... :oyvey

Funny, I was thinking more along the lines of maintaining the balance we have had for the past couple decades.
People sleep peacefully in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to visit violence on those who would do them harm.

You don't care that candidate Trump lied to the degree he did on the campaign trail?

Was so inconsistent.

Hid his taxes which would have ripped his campaign to shreds.

Why not?

Where did that line of honesty and "corruption" become acceptable for you?

That was not a balance.

Balance would be Merrick Garland, neither a liberal or conservative extremist.

Mr. Trump has promised another hard Right Justice.

So where's this balance you voted for?
