Conservatives have never understood the difference between intolerance and racial bigotry. That's why they could so easily vote for a racist for president.
The dopey phrase I hear conservative mouth goes like ''I thought liberals are supposed to be tolerant!''

A liberal tolerates people's differences like race, ethnicty, etc because those are things they have no choice over, or religious beliefs as long as those beliefs dont encroach on our freedoms

Opinions and ideas are not automatically tolerated, in fact some opinions and thinking are to be challenged, resisted and deemed not acceptable and dangerous. Your race, ethnicity you dont choose, your thinking is a choice. You are not bound by birth to be a nazi or a klansman, and I dont have to tolerate their ideology
Bannon's ideas will not only be tolerated, they will have the ear of the President.
Yes, we are all aware of how sick things have gotten.

What happened to all your faith in the American people? Doubt has consumed you.
Skipping leg day is the equivalent of a woman having an abortion. You're ashamed of it, and it was probably unnecessary.

Bigotry and hate most certainly drove President-elect Trump's campaign. It framed his message and gathered haters to his camp. The push for the Supreme Court that most certainly was also a part as well is about removing Constitutional Rights from Americans; a move fully supported by conservatives.

None of this is a positive for freedom or the heart of what this nation claims to be.

Funny, I was thinking more along the lines of maintaining the balance we have had for the past couple decades.
That was not a balance.

Balance would be Merrick Garland, neither a liberal or conservative extremist.

Mr. Trump has promised another hard Right Justice.

So where's this balance you voted for?

Roberts is a left of center centrist. The only conservatives on the court were Scalia and Thomas. Replacing Scalia with another left of center guy like the currently proposed one would have ruined the balance we have had.

Right now the court has one conservative, a few centrists and a couple leftists.
I doubt if President Pussygrabber will get any of his Supreme Court nominations approved by Congress.

Senator McConnell said, when he refused to hold confirmation hearings on Merrick Garland, that the "people" should decide. Well, more "people" voted for SOS Clinton than the Pussygrabber so I suspect we will wait until 2020 to fill the next Supreme Court vacancy.

You don't care that candidate Trump lied to the degree he did on the campaign trail?

Was so inconsistent.

Hid his taxes which would have ripped his campaign to shreds.

Why not?

Where did that line of honesty and "corruption" become acceptable for you?

Scandal ridden Hillary has lied for 30+ years

Hillary's the queen of flip-flopping from her "public position" to her "private position" depending on the day of the week and the direction of the wind. Hell, she flip flops on her speaking accent depending on her geographic location that day

I don't give two sh*ts about Trump's tax returns, as long as he's not breaking the law; and neither should you!

You don't care about much, your opinions are prejudiced. Candidate Trump contradicts himself on a regular basis. In the same day, in the same hour... he's done it in the same sentence. He did it again in the Sixty Minute interview.

But none of that matters to you. Why? Why the double standard?

No double standards here. Had Trump been a corrupt private citizen and politician like Hillary Clinton has been her entire adult life I would not have supported him either.
You either don't pay attention or don't care.

My guess is the latter with a convenient frequent nod to the former.

Your vote for a bigot was a choice, you weren't bound by birth to vote for him. Only a bigot casts a vote for a bigot
Bigot, you don't get it. I didn't vote (I was overseas), but if I had, it would have been against the career criminal Hillary Clinton whom I viewed as a much larger threat to our Democratic Republic...
You did not vote and yet you claim others to be a threat to the Republic?

I said frequently that I had faith in the American people that we would not be so irresponsible on Nov. 8th.

I was wrong. My faith was misplaced. I have to accept that I live in a country that is irresponsible and frankly stupid. Easily conned, above nothing that historically the worst societies allowed to happen under their watch.

We failed the test of vigilance and President-elect Trump is the result. We are history repeating. Nothing to be proud of.

You have selective outrage. You are more concern of the KKK marching than Clinton supporters smashing public and private properties and attacking people for having different opinion.

Of course the real shame is that you don't have an issue with the KKK and other White Supremacists finding a voice that matches their agenda in the White House starting in January. Why is that?

Why should I? If they want to march and expose their faces in public just to make sure they may never find a decent job in life, by all means.

I do have a problem with people physically attacking other people for exercising their given right to vote in this country.

I am sure that the increase in attacks on Muslims in the last year had nothing at all to do with the multiple attacks committed on US soil by Muslim extremists. It's all Trump's fault lol.
Are you saying these attacks are justified?
