Ryan is a hard right fiscal conservative. Trump's working class voters would be devastated by the Ryan budget with its cuts in spending and social programs. Trump is offering a sunny optimism about jobs, protection of Social Security and Medicare, defense spending etc. all made possible by the fairy gold of trickle-down tax cuts for corporations and millionaires. Ryan's prescription is poison but the numbers add up. Trumps medicine tastes better but he is going to have to borrow hundreds of billions to pay for it. Which doctor is going to get Uncle Sam's case? I'd bet on Dr. Feelgood.

Which doctor is going to get Uncle Sam's case? I'd bet on Dr. Feelgood. It's likely to be a hybrid. Trump will get his infrastructure spending and big tax cuts. Ryan will get his cuts on Medicare and other welfare, which will be portrayed as necessary for Trump to get what he wants. They'll mix the two medicines, stick it to the poor while filling the pockets of the wealthy even more, and blow the doors off the federal deficit, leaving us with even more trillions in national debt. Assuming that the private sector doesn't manage to blow up the economy again once all their leashes are removed. It's going to be a race to see who destroys the economy first, I expect.

Trump probably wont make it past two years before he's either impeached or resigns due to ''health problems''
Until then we watch amatuer hour
Weren't you the one that thought Hillary was taking Texas, FL, NC, PA and Ohio? "Trending" http://unitedstates.com/topic/10058710/1/One views your predictions with a certain amount of skepticism. Those predictions were based on polling, not my intuition. You also agreed in case you forgot
Recall also my threads of why Hillary could blow it over on the lib board, turns out I should have stuck with my original gut feelings rather than the polls

People had no problem hammering kato and LoT(speaking of a guy who's smiling somewhere) back in 2012, turnabout is fair play. My only other prediction was a low turnout and I think it was down %-wise from 08 and 12 tho I'll admit a lot more people showed up than I expected.

Losing by over a million votes means he'll never be accepted as legitimate by most Americans

I was thinking at that time, if I did not post it, that you were giving up too early. It's not over until....you know the rest.

It is time to step back and let the Republicans do what they will. For the last 30 years Democrats have been struggling to keep the Republicans from implementing their agenda and have received no credit at all for their struggles from those who would be harmed the most, the very constituency Republicans rely on to win elections.
So, step back and let the Republicans do what they've been trying to do and then once the smoke clears from the wreckage of our society, maybe people will reconsider ever voting for Republicans ever again. I agree with letting the Repubs have it and letting it rip. Let them and the voters who elected them have their way. But I don't think it will be as you say (a complete disaster). I think Trump is too stupid to make it 2 years before Congress decides they've had enough. Trump will commit a crime soon enough and it will be impeachment time.

I was never on the Trump train and when he went after that Gold Star family, I didn't see any way back. I still view him as a complete ahole, I wouldn't want any confusion about that but complete aholes have gone on to have successful presidencies so we'll hope for that. I'm just laughing at all the clowns trying to carve out a safe space for themselves, atta appears to have gone completely off the rails. There's a certain entertainment value in that... and I'm doing it for LoT because he'd certainly be laughing if he were here.

Word on the street is Khan got a 300k payout to bitch about Trump at the DNC. When in fact - Hillary voted for the foreign intervention that killed their son. Yes - Trump replied with his typical s**tpost, he is in fact - one of the most predictable people in the world with regards to his reactions.

Well, I'll leave you with the word on the street, I'd just assume if you were campaigning to be President of all the people, you wouldn't want to insult whole groups of them in the process. In the end, Hillary was more unlikable... and sometimes it's tough to get your head around that.
