Skipping leg day is the equivalent of a woman having an abortion. You're ashamed of it, and it was probably unnecessary.

That would be a smart move for the party whose guy just lost the popular vote. Let's split the country right down the middle and ram through a take-no-prisoners policy agenda. Sometimes democracy needs a good kick in the ass to get up off the sofa and do something. Fired up! Ready to go!

Excellent!!

1. Lower the corporate tax rate, bring back 2.6 trillion dollars in overseas profits and restore American competitiveness.

2. Re-negotiate unfair trade deals that were designed to benefit developing nations.

3. Secure the border and begin criminal deportations.

4. Begin major regulation reform.

5. Begin the difficult task of fixing Obama's disastrous healthcare fiasco.

6. A nice tax cut for PATruth and his wife!!!

The really good news is the war against the private sector is over!

The only sweeping legislation likely in Trump's first year will involve a dustpan and brush because the straddle between his tax proposal and his spending plans simply doesn't make sense. He can get the former from Ryan and the latter in bipartisan compromise with the Dems, but not on the same afternoon. If you have to straddle, you have to waddle.

You can be sure that their first move will be to lower taxes on the richest Americans and raise taxes on the poorest Americans.

After that, abortion, Planned Parenthood and school prayer…

Criminal deportations has been the focus of ICE for the past several years. Republicans need to catch up.

What is really sad is that Democrats will not have any input in developing spending plans, tax plans, abortion, school prayer, or anything else except to whine.....They can not even cause gridlock in the Senate or House....They are the Party of despair............ :wah:

It is not possible to raise income taxes on people who do not pay any income taxes. In fact, the people you speak of actually receive a tax credit. So in reality they pay taxes at a negative rate.

It will be interesting to see how fiscally conservative Republicans will react to bills that will blow up the deficit like tax cuts, increased military spending and increased infrastructure spending.

Do they march lock-step with the Party or do they follow their ideological bent on cutting deficits and debt? Only time will tell.

I suspect it will go as it did the GWB. There will be griping but no action.

To be honest, there is little that fiscal conservatives can do but hopefully they at least complain.

The key to spending cuts is peace with Russia, and staying the hell out of the Middle East and territorial squabbles....The Pentagon can do their live fire exercises on bases in the USA..........;)
