http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/17/politics/bernie-sanders-donald-trump-allies/index.html President-elect Donald Trump will find himself with an unlikely ally if he makes good on his promise to be an economic populist challenging corporate America, Bernie Sanders said Thursday. "If Mr. Trump has the guts to stand up to those corporations," said the former Democratic presidential candidate, "he will have an ally with me." |

Hope he doesn't hold his breath. Trump may take out some "enemies" for revenge but he is a creature of Wall Street and Manhattan. Anyone notice the soundbite when he was at the steakhouse the other night? Shaking hands, he said "first thing is I'll cut your taxes". He was in one of the priciest restaurants in NYC, a city known for pricey restaurants. I doubt there were too many middle class folks in there that he was talking to. |

There was/is a lot of commonality between the Trump supporters and the Bernie supporters.....they both instinctively knew the Establishment sold them out .... The key difference is what were the solutions ..... |

If that happens then the Democrats won't be winning any more elections. Not that I'll lose any sleep. It's better this way because something can be actually done for the good of our nation. Drain the swamp from not only the government but from both political parties as well. And keep it drained forever. Edited by Eddo26, Nov 18 2016, 10:07 AM.

Trump and Sanders have opposite agendas. How can anyone fall for Trump as a reformer? He clearly isn't. |

What does "taking on" even mean? They pay the highest corporate tax in the world, generate most of the payroll taxes and provide the wife and I a really nice lifestyle that I've become accustom to. What do I get from the government? A tax bill and a gang of illegals hang in out in front of the Home Depot? Bernie Sanders is a bigger moron than Chavez and Maduro combined. |

If he nominates JP Morgan Chase & Co CEO Jamie Dimon for Treasury Secretary you can kiss all the “drain the swamp” and “fighting the establishment” rhetoric goodbye |

I hope Trump has the guts to take on the real criminals, the federal government. Obama will leave behind a corrupt IRS, State Department, FBI, Dept of H&HS, EPA, Justice Dept.........The federal government is a cesspool of corruption and incompetence. Did I mention this steaming pile of bureaucratic crap costs over 4 trillion dollars a year?
