“We have a history of remarkable servants in the Oval Office and in in the Situation Room under Republican presidents,” Mudd told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on "The Situation Room." “We transition now to a national security adviser in a political realm who argues that opponent on the stump should be locked up in prison and who argues that a billion-plus Muslims should be grouped together."

Trump's appointment of Flynn, who has referred to Islam as a "cancer" and argued that "fear of Muslims is rational," has been challenged by numerous advocacy groups, with 53 organizations recently signing an open letter calling on Trump to rescind the pick.

Mudd went on to blast the Trump team for failing to pivot from a campaign to a proper administration.

"You want to tell me that we’re going to transition in the Situation Room to reality and I’m watching a clown show. I’ve had it with this, Wolf," he said. "I want to see a transition from a campaign to a reality and I don’t see it yet."

The former intelligence official also ripped the Trump camp over reports that security clearance had been requested for Flynn's son, Michael Flynn Jr., who has repeatedly circulated conspiracy theories online.

"We go on to argue that that individual’s son who retweets fake news should be given access to top secrets," Mudd said mockingly.

Trump’s national security adviser shared secrets without permission, files show

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump%E2%80%99s-national-security-adviser-shared-secrets-without-permission-files-show/ar-AAly9eD?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartandhp

A secret U.S. military investigation in 2010 determined that Michael T. Flynn, the retired Army general tapped to serve as national security adviser in the Trump White House, “inappropriately shared” classified information with foreign military officers in Afghanistan, newly released documents show.

Although Flynn lacked authorization to share the classified material, he was not disciplined or reprimanded after the investigation concluded that he did not act “knowingly” and that “there was no actual or potential damage to national security as a result,” according to Army records obtained by The Washington Post under the Freedom of Information Act.

Flynn has previously acknowledged that he was investigated while serving as the U.S. military intelligence chief in Afghanistan for sharing secrets with British and Australian allies there. But he has dismissed the case as insignificant and has given few details.

The Army documents provide the first official account of the case, but they are limited in scope because the investigation itself remains classified. Former U.S. officials familiar with the matter said that Flynn was accused of telling allies about the activities of other agencies in Afghanistan, including the CIA.

The Army files call into question Flynn’s prior assertion that he had permission to share the sensitive information.

Coming from the guy who voted for the woman who had thousands and thousands of classified emails on an unauthorized and unsecured server in her bathroom for years before she handed it over to an IT company to maintain it who didn't have the proper security clearances to handle it, who then proceeded to upload the contents of said server to a cloud back up company who also didn't have the proper security clearances to handle the information.

Does that just about sum your hypocrisy up?
