They REALLY shouldn't have pushed on her. I mean they had other choices that would have given them a lot better chance, why risk it?

Kato dear. When dealing with such petulance and arrogance as is endemic to the "Democrat" party one must adopt the tactic of baby steps. Before they can accept the REASONS Clinton lost, they must first accept the fact that she lost.

With the result being that Donald Trump won…it’s too bad he didn’t get the popular vote as well. I explained why the split is possible. (I think it was another thread by Katoblue.)

In a way, I don’t mind this happening. It illustrates yet another reason why the Democratic Party badly needs a restructuring—and a realignment—that brings an end to a good number of careers.

The sad part is, they don't seem to have learned anything from the b!tch slapping they took in this election.

Well they're not going to learn anything from bulls**t articles like this one
The author sprinkles tidbits of truth on a wedding cake of lies

Lie #1
''You nominated a corrupt, deceitful, detestable crook who was the subject of at least two active FBI investigations. ''
True she was an awkward candidate with a limp, uninspiring message, but she's no crook. The repubs went over her with a fine tooth comb with congressional investigations, but found nothing to pin on her. Nor were there FBI investigations going on against her. Comey hinted at it, but then retracted and clarified there were no FBI investigations
Trump used this lie in his campaign, called her crooked Hillary and said he'd have her arrested, and his surrogates led the chants to lock her up
Now? He says he was kidding about all that
Hillary is under no known investigations or indictment, never was, never will be
A total smear based on lies

Lie#2
''Your policies don’t work.''
Obamacare has given millions of people health insurance. He says things like ''I used to be able to afford health insurance before Obamacare'' is in general another lie. Before Obamacare close to 50 million people in the US were unable to afford health insurance and many people went bankrupt from medical bills. Obamacare reduced those numbers drastically.
Now Trump and the republicans are on the hook to repeal it because they promised to, but they have no idea how to replace it. The result looks to be catastrophic losses for millions of people
Everything else the dems have done have varying rates of success, the repubs try to push falsehoods like '' he destroyed the country!'' or ''unemployent is really at 24%!'' The fact is under Obama we have had no recession, steady growth, low unemployment and rising wages for eight straight years, plus add the fact that the deficit has shrunk by 3/4 since he took office. No Virginia, the country wasn't destroyed

The middle statement about calling all white people racists is an exaggeration, played up by the right as an attack on white people. I would partially agree that identity politics was not helpful

You know how Hillary lost? Not just three states, but three cities within those states, Milwaukee, Philadelphia and Detroit, had low turnouts for her in the colle tive range of 80,000 votes. Whether it was due to NAFTA, or black voters not being excited enough because Obama wasn't on the ticket, if she would have just went door to door in those towns and made an extra effort to get those lost votes, she'd be president today

Hillary's loss shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. She was undoubtedly the most corrupt, scandal ridden nominee in American history. The lying bitch was a target of several FBI investigations while she expected to be elected to the WH! I mean really, I'm shocked there are that many idiots that would vote for this career criminal.

Second, the Trump's victory was a repudiation of the entire failed Obama tenure. Let's face it, he ran on reversing everything Boy Blunder had enacted. His signature disaster, ObamaCare is reaching the death spiral stage and is ready to collapse. His economy has been the worst since the great depression and he's added 10 trillion dollars in debt.

Like Clinton, the GOP saved his dumb arse from further damaging the economy. Obama is an advocate of attanomics, the economic system that has the Venezuelan people starving to death and without toilet paper.

We are in the post-truth era, where lying by Trump and his cult is the rule, not the exception. It will be his undoing, the question is how much damage will Trump and the republicans cause to the rest of the country

Running things based on lies and fantasy is a recipe for destruction, as we unfortunately will find out in the coming months

If you have food and toilet paper you can thank the great American capitalists, the free market and your conservative friends here at p.com. People who espouse attanomics need to be protected from themselves. If left to your own decisions you would have no rich uncle to rob, your money would be worthless and you would be starving to death.

CEO Trump knows what's best for you, now lay back and enjoy it!

One way to prevent a recession is to borrow ten trillion dollars to create an economy that grows so slowly there can't be a recession. Did you know Cuba hasn't had a recession since the great revolution. True story! Attanomics works like magic!

It doesn't matter anymore that Clinton lost.
The focus should be on Putin's American Governor.

I hear he got high marks for appointing a friend of Vlads to the Sec o State job.
