http://www.oann.com/trump-names-montana-congressman-zinke-to-lead-interior-department/ December 15, 2016 By Timothy Gardner WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday named U.S. Representative Ryan Zinke of Montana, a former Navy SEAL commander who questions whether humans are largely the cause of climate change, as his choice for secretary of the interior. If the Senate confirms Zinke, a Republican, to lead the Interior Department, he will head an agency that employs more than 70,000 people across the country and oversees more than 20 percent of federal land, including national parks such as Yellowstone and Yosemite. |

Seriously though, is my memory faulty here? I don't ever remember the media covering cabinet appointments like they are covering Trump's proposed guys. In 2008 did Obama's proposed guy for Secretary of the Interior even get mentioned in the news prior to confirmation hearings?

Without having to look can anyone name the current head of the Interior, Labor, Energy, HUD, etc.... I mean other than known quantities like the embarrassing John F Kerry or the highly corrupt and disgraced Hillary who else is there? Some might know D of Justice because of current events and maybe FED chair Yellen....but most wouldn't have a clue.... I do remember Obama adding a bunch of (get this) Czars.....and nary a peep from the libs..... |

Usually the new President's cabinet is announced and covered but it quickly moves on to other news unless there is an issue or controversy with the nomination. Trump is not being handled any differently. Because he is working "outside the box" his nominees are getting a little more scrutiny because they are not well known or have direct experience in the areas they will now be running. |
