Skipping leg day is the equivalent of a woman having an abortion. You're ashamed of it, and it was probably unnecessary.

What a bogus story and headline, did you even bother to read it?

First, he came here when he was 16 years old. The mothers fear, and reason for leaving Somalia, is that her husband had already been kidnapped by Al Qaeda and they would, as they do elsewhere, kidnap her children and force them to join Al Qaeda. This is hardly a sign he was "recruited" or even had any contact with Al Qaeda. This is an op-ed piece posing as journalism, an all too common problem on these Internet based web services (of all ideologies).

It appears you did not:

While seeking asylum as refugees from Mogadishu, Somalia in 2013, Artan’s mother told immigration authorities that she feared persecution from al-Qaeda affiliate group al-Shabaab, and worried that Abdul and his siblings would be recruited by the terrorist organization if they remained in Somalia.

She was worried they would be, like every other kid in the Arab world. She didn't say they were being recruited. It was her reason to try and get out, to get away from Al Qaeda.
