He seals the borders with Canada and Mexico; he quarantines sick Americans; he declares martial law, builds detention-style camps for quarantine-defiers, and uses epidemic conspiracies to launch a trade war with China.

Desperation is so sad
Don'tcha just giggle at all these chicken little predictions?

It's a pretty informative article.
You should take the time to read it.

It'll smort ya up

For what it's worth, I hope he does a good job with all of the challenges of being President that come his way.
We all win if that happens.

About as informative as any other chicken little doomsday prediction.

It's not really a prediction, just a warning.
Maybe we dodge the bullets for four years, maybe we don't.
If the guy is prepared and smart we will be ok.

If not?...well....
The society will survive either way, but some people might not.

It's just a cautionary tale buddy.
Something that people should have considered before they allowed Trump to be the guy that might be deciding their future.
There are lots of ways the President can help and lots of ways that a President can hurt us all.
This article just brings up one of those ways he can hurt even his most ardent supporters.

He either will or won't support the science that is tested at the CDC every time some illness rears its head. If he doesn't support science with his actions (not his words) he leaves even his strongest supporters vulnerable to a potential disease that can kill, them or their loved ones.

We will soon see if his plans are to support the necessary science research that has helped to keep us relatively free of involuntary illness (unlike smoking and drinking) or if they are to redirect the resources to some other goal. Like paying to build a useless wall.

This thread is just something else to think about. This sort of examination process of his priorities is going to continue as it has for every President. Best get used to being on the defense side of that battle if that is where your loyalties actually are.

^^^From the guy who voted for the guy who had never had bottom line responsibility in his life...no even a lemonade stand....the liberal comedy show rolls on...

Only liberals can choose not to go down the road to widespread, systematic violence.
