Trump on alleged election interference by Russia: ‘Get on with our lives’ President-elect Donald Trump distanced himself Wednesday night from the Obama administration’s plans to punish Russia for its alleged interference in the 2016 presidential election, telling reporters “I think we ought to get on with our lives.” http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-on-alleged-election-interference-by-russia-%E2%80%98get-on-with-our-lives%E2%80%99/ar-BBxFD8j?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartandhp |

"Get on with our lives"??? Russia hacks and interferes with our elections and the President of the United States just dismisses it? This guy is the defender of the constitution? The chief executive of our country? The defender of our nation? No, he's a moron that obviously owes Russia more than he does the United States. |

Trump believes that Putin had no effect on the US election, like Obama had no effect on the Israel election...............

Effect or not, he interfered with the U.S Elections. That should have united Americans but I guess that can only happen when one puts their faith in America and not in Russia. What the hell happened to conservatism? The party of Reagan? Now the Party of 'Putin and Pals'. |

Hillary happened...She was a greater threat to world peace and the American way of life, than Putin leaking E-mails of the Democratic Party...What is so bad about leaking the truth about our political system to the American people ??? Perhaps Putin deserves a medal for what he has done for America.............

Nope. That's a conservative crackpot lie. Clearly American conservatism has chosen Russia over the United States. Seems like the President-elect has chosen Russia over the United States best interests as well. |

I'm thinking that if the Russians had intervened in the election in order to favor Clinton and Trump was the election loser, he'd be crying like a big old rat eating onions. |

You are assuming those emails are real. It would not be hard for an organized hacking attack to slip in some juicy false emails designed to have the most disruptive effect. It is interesting though that we have elected a President that seems more intent on protecting Russia and Israel than he is the United States. If Obama or any Democrat had been this open in his support of a foreign country the Right would have been having fits. |

Of course they are real. There is no dispute. If they were fake they would say they are fake - instead the Clinton team, Podesta specifically admits he was hacked. That means they are real. and as to your last part, Trump is protecting the United States from the Democrat Party. The government is bad enough as it is without a criminal enterprise at the highest echelons. Edited by estonianman, Dec 29 2016, 01:08 PM.

As a political virgin, Mr. Trump has no experience with an organized, permanent opposition. He will need to learn the basics in the next 90 days or so or suffer the consequences. |

You have it ass backwards. Jeb Bush was organized opposition and not only was he embarrassed out of existence, but so was the entire Bush family. The democrat political establishment was so desperate at the end, they were siding with these same neocons. Their defeat was spectacular. The political establishment brought sticks to a flamethrower fight. If anything - I look forward to the continued embarrassment of these folks over the next 8 years. |

How the American people were willing to roll over and accept this is beyond my comprehension. We (the people) deserve the full weight of the consequences of this very stupid and short sighted decision. |
