Trump's already feuding with his Congress, and once it starts where will it end? As if winning the general election will now encourage congress to do its job.

Would you prefer a partisan azz kisser like Obama? I hope Trump publicly embarrasses and humiliates every slimy self serving representative that doesn't act in the best interest of the American people.

Domestically, Trump fighting with Congress is about as bad as it gets, it helps no one - except maybe the Russians. Wait and see in a week or two Trump will start calling Congress weak and ineffective. And a majority of Americans will likely agree with him, including liberals.

"an initial watchdog for House members but without power to punish members"

they're getting rid of the eunuch... huge loss
Only the House can punish members

This independent investigatory group was highly criticized for being too aggressive in investigating wrong-doing by House members. This effectively gets rid of the strict investigation and puts the fox in charge of the hen house.

This is a move that shows the House Republicans have no interest in "draining the swamp". Even Trump is critical of this move. All this shows is that House Republicans are lining themselves up to clean out the vault.
The reward for controlling both Houses and the WH is the ability to pillage the government. Power = money, that's life. Why do you think they spend millions of dollars for the chance of getting a job that pays less than $200K? Because they care about the children? Really, who's that stupid? If they steal a couple billion dollars so be it, in the big picture that's peanuts. Obama has been adding 3 billion dollars a day to the national debt, what's a couple billion more? If they fix immigration, fix our tax code, fix our horrific trade deals, replace ObamaCare and lower my taxes I can get over it.
Do you really think they will fix those things when they are setting themselves up to create legislation for the highest bidder.

Immigration is an easy fix, it only requires will. Fixing the tax code is also not that difficult, it won't be perfect but it should be a lot better. Fixing our lopsided trade deals is also not that complicated. Healthcare is a HUGE cluster f k, that will be done incrementally. There is so much waste and overhead in the system, we have multiple CHIPS, the VA, Medicare, Medicaid, ObamaCare...., the dems have made such a mess the only solution may end up being a single payer OPTION.

The Twitter-Account-in Chief strikes again.
People sleep peacefully in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to visit violence on those who would do them harm.

A president struggling to control his majority party in Congress is nothing new. Conducting the struggle on Twitter certainly is. This work has traditionally been done behind the scenes by a trusted White House hatchet man. Twitter is an ideal battleground for the president in a number of ways. Trump tweets, the world listens. Four hundred congresscritters can all tweet at once an it won't amount to a murder* of crows.

*murder tossed in as a sort of trivia question
Well, between Trump's twitter and the outrage of constituents, congress has reversed course on this.

It's amazing how the cockroaches scurry about when you shine a light on them....

He pulled their choke collar. It took 1 tweet and 25 minutes.

Tell me why he needs the media?

Trump has already accomplished more than Obama did in eight years. Imagine what he will accomplish once he's in office?
