I still don't think Bernie would have won - his voodoo economics would have been destroyed over the course of the campaign.

OK great you found one Trump voter who would've voted for Bernie. Congratulations.

I'm not watching a 55 minute video to hear it.

It's an interesting post-election townhall meeting.
If you don't like Bernie, don't watch it.

Sanders and Trump are damn near opposite on policy. Any Sanders supporter who went for Trump instead is probably too stupid to be voting at all.

"if your only position is telling DC to go feck themselves"

"too stupid to vote"

Political nihilism is worse than staying home.

I disagree. You imply that it is a requirement to find some agreement with the current system

If you reject the entire system a rebellious vote is rational.

No, if you reject the entire system, a vote for some alternative, better system would be rational. Simply further breaking the current system is vandalism, not progress, and not in most citizens' self-interest, regardless of ideology.

When the current system falls, something else can rise to replace it.

Sanders and Trump have opposite positions on many issues (many of them equally unworkable, but still opposite). It makes more sense to pick something close to what you want.

Trump doesn't represent a systemic change, or even a meaningful change to the clique in control of it. YHBT

and historically, "something else" is likely to be much worse

Trump will halt Syrian and Somali refugee settlement. Hillary would not.

Things may have to get worse before they get better
