Progressives are worthless whiners. People like little Jimmy deserve to live under Trump. May the Sandersian goofballs of the Left suffer the full wages of their sins. I bathe happily in their pain.

As you'll soon learn from our friends in the Trump Administration there will be no safe spaces from The Donald's wrath.
I tried to spare you from that fate but "Generation Entitlement" seems to require a painful lesson to grow up. The next four (or eight) years will be it. You've certainly earned every minute of it. Enjoy.

We'll see if they pick Ellison next month then there may be a glimmer of hope for the buried party. Otherwise it sure as hell will be 8 years.

Jimmy Dore is exactly right. The DNC , the corporate Democrats and the mainstream media are to blame for Trump being elected instead of Bernie Sanders.
The real leftists are the silenced majority, the sleeping giant.

While all that is true - the rust belt preferred Trump because the Obama recovery never spread outside DC, Manhattan Island and a few other urban areas.

Obama's first mistake was to not immediately go for an FDR-type of stimulus package - $800 billion went to Wall Street, but except for the auto industry, Main Street was left hanging in recession. Obama's second mistake was compromising with the Republicans, for example ,on healthcare--believing he could cut a deal with the Republicans since the Democrats had a majority in Congress, for not publicly fighting for the public option and /or a single payer system, and for wasting 2 years on it . Number three- not using the media to his advantage to counter the lies and deceptions pouring out of the right-wing think tanks. He could have called out the Koch Brothers and their groups like 'Americans For Prosperty' through which the Tea party was basically formed within the first few weeks of Obam's inauguration.
He could have accomplished so much more right out of the gate if he had tried. ( or maybe he did try and there are other reasons he couldn't do what he wanted that we'll never know about )

FDR's new deal programs are the biggest drag on the economy - they are s**t - tier programs that are all broken. Just handing out cash doesn't do anything either - except create a temporary boost with consequences later.

Sanders was rejected by the people. He lost.
Unfortunately, despite all their constant prattle about "the people this" and the "the people that", liberals - like conservatives and all other hardened ideologues - fundamentally despise democratic processes when they don't get their way. The result was an epic tantrum by the Sanders people. Neither Bernie nor his supporters could simply accept the truth. It was over and they'd been beaten by the candidate with more votes. When it was clear he'd lost, Bernie - in a remarkable act of hypocrisy - even began trying to get the unelected superdelegates to overrule the people's vote and install him as the winner rather than the democratically elected nominee. Of course, the party had no intention of overturning the popular vote and handing the nomination to Sanders. This caused another round of tantrums on the left.
The Bernie dead-enders were basically totalitarian. They believed in overturning democratic processes in order to rule over the people without consent. They fool themselves into believing this is for the people's own good. Trump has the same dictatorial impulses but - unlike the left - he is at least honest with himself and understands he is doing it for his own ends.
In Sanders' defense, he did eventually come to understand he'd lost and actually tried to undo the damage he'd caused. But by then, it was too late. His supporters - egged on by the candidate's own conspiracy-mongering - were no longer listening to him. Trump even began adopting some of Sanders' own rhetoric about rigged systems. He knew a winning idea when he saw it.
A lot of people bear responsibility for Donald Trump. Bernie Sanders is certainly one of the biggest names on that list - a fact which still shocks me considering how positive and upbeat his campaign began.

Bernie lost because of fake news spread by the Clinton campaign and DNC... the same fake news you Hillary supporters are blaming the conservatives for, and throwing a tantrum about blaming how it is influenced by the Russians caused Hillary to lose, and trying to get the elected delegates to vote against Trump, these violent protests after the election and inauguration day and these feminists dressed like vaginas marching yesterday... everything you said we Bernie supporters did was wrong and now look at you all hopelessly doing exactly the same thing!

I haven't attended or supported any protests and I oppose modern feminism vehemently. I also don't remember any Bernie supporters dressing like vaginas but it wouldn't surprise me. Frankly, I think protests are mostly silly and pointless no matter who is doing them but if someone wants to, that's fine with me as long as they obey laws, keep it peaceful and don't bother me about whatever nonsense they are selling.

And the mainstream media completely ignored the Sanders campaign starting in 2015, while giving Clinton and Trump all the airtime they wanted. And there were how many ? Twelve prime time Republican debates compared to 2 Democrat debates in low-ratings slots. And what little time Bernie got was mostly bits and pieces about "how can a 'socialist' possibly win ?" Even Bill Maher and other late shows gave him the 'Ross Perot' treatment...Hollywood and the establishment wanted Hillary no matter what...and it backfired on them.

Bernie supporters do not watch the mainstream media - they are online.
When the media turned on Trump, he turned to Twitter - and won the election.

While all that is true - the rust belt preferred Trump because the Obama recovery never spread outside DC, Manhattan Island and a few other urban areas.
Much of Trump's support came from people doing the "hold the nose" thing while pulling the lever If Trump or the republicans don't start delivering, that support will erode quickly Donald and his crew will discover that winning the election was the easy part
Midterms are only two years away
You may be a conservative republican..if you are pro life until you get your mistress knocked up

Because the media convinced everyone that he was Hitler - and they still voted for him over Hillary.
It's will take about 60 days for those people to realize the media is full of it.
