It's not really a fair assessment considering the amount of propaganda and visceral hatred being spread by the media and celebrities. Even Obama didn't have this much but, of course, things have changed quite a bit with social media since he first came into office too. |

Once again, polls are outdated and practically useless at this point. |

Resistance to Trump is theatrical guerilla theater is long as the punks keep paying their taxes...Trump knows how to spend their money...It goes to reinforce the goals of the people who elected him....Everything else is pure fantasy...Liberals prefer fantasy and waving silly signs...Adults are finally in charge in America...America is no longer a daycare center..............

You will one day sober up to the fact that the resistance will be unrelenting: Swing Left and the Post-Election Surge of Progressive Activism http://www.newyorker.com/culture/jia-tolentino/swing-left-and-the-post-election-surge-of-progressive-activism "On January 18th, the Twitter account for a new political organization posted its first tweet: a link to swingleft.org—a neatly designed Web site where you can plug in your Zip Code to find the nearest U.S. House district whose seat was, in the most recent election, decided by a small margin—along with the message “Let’s get to work.” The Swing Left campaign, which aims to win the House for Democrats in 2018, quickly went viral. The comedian Sarah Silverman tweeted “Start thinking mid term elections now – this makes it CRAZY easy,” with a link to the site. As the roughly three million people who came out for the Women’s March on Saturday made colorfully evident, an enormous, amorphous bundle of progressive energy in the country is searching for an outlet or three. By January 22nd, a hundred thousand people had signed up to receive Swing Left updates. That number has since more than doubled. In addition, ten thousand people have filled out a form on the site to offer their skills in a volunteer capacity. The Web site has been shared on Facebook nearly three hundred thousand times." |

President Obama did not face huge amounts of propaganda and visceral hatred for the eight years of his administration? You could not have been on this planet for the past eight years. |

At least 1,000 State Dept. officials have signed a 'dissent cable' criticizing Trump's exec. order http://www.dailykos.com/story/2017/1/31/1628202/-At-least-1-000-State-Dept-officials-have-signed-a-dissent-cable-criticizing-Trump-s-exec-order "The New York Times is reporting on an internal “dissent cable” that has been sent around the world, through the State Department’s internal channels, concerning the mistake that is tiny-handed President Donald Trump’s Muslim ban. The cable began in Washington D.C. and has made its way around the world. The cable is an internal dissent memo that explains how this executive over will not make our country safer, and if anything, hurt our country’s national security....By 4 p.m. on Tuesday, the letter had attracted around 1,000 signatures, State Department officials said, far more than any dissent cable in recent years. It was being delivered to management, and department officials said more diplomats wanted to add their names to it." |

Fear of protesters prompts cancellation of Trump trip; https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/01/us/politics/donald-trump-administration.html?ref=politics "Protest Nation plans to make noise at Mar-a-Lago Mr. Trump’s hope for relative peace and calm this weekend at Mar-a-Lago, his private club in Palm Beach, Fla., may be disrupted. Emboldened by demonstrations across the country, and the White House’s decision to skip a trip to Milwaukee rather than face angry opponents, protesters are planning a march outside the club as it plays host to the annual American Red Cross gala. The gala has been held at the club in previous years, and Mr. Trump has attended. It is unclear whether he will attend this year. The protests will paint an untimely tableau for a president whose last five days have been spent facing fallout from his executive order temporarily banning travel from seven Muslim-majority nations. Their action may have been encouraged by the White House itself. The decision to cancel President Trump’s trip to Milwaukee for a visit to a Harley-Davidson factory on Thursday was sure to have repercussions for the already energized activists opposing Mr. Trump’s presidency. Harley-Davidson was worried about the protests and the possible harm to its popularity, just as Peyton Manning was last week when he dashed out the back door of a Republican retreat in Philadelphia rather than risk the cameras. And the next big march on Washington — this one dubbed the March for Science — now has a date: April 22, Earth Day. The Democratic National Committee is already mocking the decision. “Donald Trump is a real tough guy when it comes to locking up a scared 5-year-old boy trying to find his mother,” said Zac Petkanas, Democratic National Committee senior adviser. “But as soon as he has to face the American people to defend his illegal anti-Muslim ban, he chickens out. What a profile in courage.” |

We love liberal marches....Their irritating antics serves Trump in turning the American people against Democrats...We couldn't do that without the liberal's help....April 22 seems too far away....Can't you have a demonstration every week ????.................
