Obama Stranded Legal Cuban Travelers In Airports During His Last Week In Office When Obama ended the “Wet Foot/Dry Foot” policy toward Cubans fleeing communist oppression, thousands of Cubans’ lives were thrown into chaos. Remember all of the protests and phony outrage by democrat congressmen and the mainstream media? Neither do I. LINK |

from the OP “These Cuban travelers have tourism visas. They are being detained or deported,” Sánchez said on January 15. “Those being detained within the airport include people of advanced age, including one blind man, many of them ill.” He added that many elderly Cubans with whom he spoke after being released from interrogation were threatened with being detained in an immigration center, leaving them thinking, “if you’re going to throw me in jail just send me back.” and nary a peep....libs? |

Hmmm... can anyone remember the massive street protests? Hollywood protesting? Anyone on p.com protesting? I know our good friends Coast2Coast and CT had to be enraged! |

I do recall quite a few Castro fawning threads but very little about the plight of Cuban refugees stranded ....no rogue Tweeters either...

Ahm, he repealed the policy because we are normalizing relations with Cuba, and the "fleeing from the commies" no longer applies. I think it's funny that you want to throw back Mexicans but you want to raise a stink over the far fewer number of Cubans...I personally don't think any of you care bout the Cubans predicaments, but it makes for a good punching bag. If there were issues with the State Dept that's a civil service regulatory issue, not with the outgoing President. Let's keep things away from rhetoric eh? Calmly and rationally filter out the bs |

Why do we have to "start" with the Left, we can't do both sides at once? |
