”Do you think the U.S. Attorney General has a responsibility to say no to the president if he asks for something that is improper?,” asked Senator Jefferson Beauregard Sessions (R-Alabama) in 2015. “I believe they have an obligation to follow the law and the Constitution,” replied U.S. Deputy Attorney General nominee Sally Q. Yates. She did resist orders to violate the Constitution, and was fired for her commitment to uphold the rule of law by Trump, whose behavior is ever more erratic and illogical. Trump apparently personally fired Yates on Monday for refusing to defend his regime's 'sneak attack' ethnically targeted travel ban. Yates did so because of Trump's repeated racist comments about Muslim people, according to reports. http://boingboing.net/2017/01/30/thank-you-sally-yates.html |

Fake news. Why are leftists flipping out about his? It's a list Obama came up with. It's simple common sense to restrict immigration from nations that produce terrorists. |

Yes, but it's wrong when you say no to a Republican President. |

Is hypocrisy part and parcel of being a conservative or are hypocrites just naturally drawn to conservatism? You got conservatives, on Domestic; cheering Trump attacking price gouging by drug manufacturers when a year or so ago they were defending Martin Shkreli. |

Oh look, phony outrage from leftists. Perhaps you can tell us how many people within the Obama administration were dismissed for refusing to carry out the administration's agenda. |
| Kate Steinle was separated from her family permanently but leftists didn't seem to mind. | |

This is the hypocrisy of conservatism. It's one thing when a liberal is President but those days are over, so for folks like Mr. Sessions and the rest of conservative America it's time to move all those core principals. Edited by Coast2coast, Jan 31 2017, 10:00 PM.

What is there to discuss? She is one of many people who opposed Trump. There are many people who also support Trump. Unless Trump violated the law for this firing, I see nothing illegal. |

I'm not talking the legal. I'm talking about the stupendous degree of blatant conservative hypocrisy. |

You are so ignorant that you do not know what "fake news" means. You also have no common sense so that comment is worthless. |

I'm not sure what's so difficult to understand that she, and the rest of the govt for that matter, serves at the pleasure of the President. She doesn't get to decide which policies of the President she'd like to defend. She defends them all... or gets out. If she wanted to take the moral high ground, she should have resigned, see Elliott Richardson. Edited by jake58, Jan 31 2017, 10:54 PM.
