This essay by RINO traitor David Frum in The Atlantic, a failing, Communist publication filled with lies about real Americans, is being read and commented on in sites all over the Web. No matter. The tiny clique of sclerotic racists who tickle each other's hatreds on unitedstates.com don't read magazines, don't entertain any thoughts outside the bubble and are only posting here as a relief from cognitive flatulence. Sorry, wrong board. =================================================================================================================== GA, please forgive your post being put at the top here but I did not want to lose the topic but had to close it on Domestic. When I moved your post to this version the time stamp put it on top- Demagogue Edited by Demagogue, Feb 2 2017, 01:26 PM.

A rambling and senseless article. Let me summarize, the democrats lost so women, children and especially minorities are in danger. I really like how minorities are going to find it more difficult to vote. Silly me, if I didn't know better I would think there were two different criteria to vote, one for whites and one for minorities? WTF is that? I'm assuming the author agrees with democrats and assume black folk are too stupid to get an ID? Ahhhh the country is lost, Hillary is not the president!!!!!!!!! Run for cover.. |

I tolerated it up to this point: "Donald Trump, however, represents something much more radical. A president who plausibly owes his office at least in part to a clandestine intervention by a hostile foreign intelligence service?" Get over it, you lost because Trump was less detestable than Hillary. God you people are friggin whiny children. |

The article has nothing to do with Hillary and very little to do with minorities. If you think it does, you did not read it. |

The great irony of PAT's clueless response is that it is precisely what the article he didn't read predicts. |

No, I read enough of it to know it was a waste of time. It subtly supports your Trump is a Nazi dictator fantasy so you found it interesting reading. Let me say it in a way you can understand, Trump won, get the f__k over it. When did you join atta and the rest of the fringe? "African Americans, young people, and the recently naturalized encounter increasing difficulties casting a vote in most states." Maybe you didn't read it? Edited by PATruth, Feb 2 2017, 01:47 PM.

Actually, it points out specifically that Trump is NOT a Nazi dictator and will never become one. Again, probably something you'd know if you read the article rather than just skimming the headline and then spewing insults based on your preconceived guesses about what it would say. As for Atta, the only difference between you and him is that he usually reads things BEFORE he begins spewing insults. And it has very little to do with minorities, as I said. I did not say it did not include a single sentence about them. Edited by Two a.m., Feb 2 2017, 01:53 PM.

Perhaps instead of cherry picking individual sentences out of a massive article in a desperate scramble to make it appear to be what you wrongly assumed it was, you would be better served by actually reading it, finding out what it is actually about and then addressing any points it makes. |

I figured you would like the article. Parts of it read like something you would write. The first third of the article is nonsensical fantasy. The remainder is at least interesting even though it does bear The Atlantic's left tilt. The author flatly accepts epidemic levels of voter suppression against minorities that simply does not exist and that is probably not the most egregious of his assumptions. Regardless though, it is an interesting article and worth reading even if I disagree with many of the author's precepts. |

Voter suppression = democrats too stupid to identify themselves. Funny this doesn't effect Republicans? Why is that? How sad is it that any American can reach the age of 18 and not be able to identify themselves? This is what the democrats War on Poverty has created, worthless human beings. If it wasn't so sad it would be funny. Oh well, I'll laugh anyway... Edited by PATruth, Feb 2 2017, 03:04 PM.

So which republican is lying here, demagogue who says it doesnt happen, or you, who infers black people are stupid? It effects repubs too, just more democrats, like black folks who are forced to take days off of work in order to go to a DMV in a white neighborhood because they dont open them in white neighborhoods. The republicans did a study and found out by putting voter ID laws in effect, they can skim an extra 1 to 2% votes in an election Thats the % they won by in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania |
