If we want to go back to The Crusades yes but in general that's complete BS. Fact is Islam is incompatible with western culture. If you don't believe that I suggest you read a book on the subject. With Islam there is no such thing as separation of church and state, that is a foreign concept. Islam is everything you need, all laws, the courts, marital relationships.... All laws are interpreted from the Koran, period.

Why the left is suddenly apologizing for the barbaric, woman beating, gay bashing Muslim faith is beyond me. If nothing else it shows the depth of their hypocrisy.

Not as violent but they both promote willful ignorance and that can be as dangerous as anything else.

More Christians kill people in this country than people of any other religion.
There's a fact.

How many do it in the name of Christianity? Lots of people call themselves Christians but they seldom are.

I'm not apologizing for anyone.
I'm pointing out to you that there are far more killers that profess the Christian faith in this country than there are Muslims.

Now, that doesn't mean that they commit their crimes because of their religion, but that holds true for Muslims as well.

But the truth is, Christians are killers as much as anyone and I don't see anyone raging away against them.

America since 9/11 has either directly or created the conditions that caused the of the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people in the ME

So if one wants to claim the we are a Christian nation, then christians own those deaths

Some people deserve a one way ticket to either Cuba or Iran. Hopefully Trump can make it happen!

No religion has a monopoly or pass on violence. We have an embarrassing double standard too, in that we blame a billion and a half Muslims for the actions of a small radical minority, but absolve ourselves for our radicals, our murders, and our wars -- which kill far more innocents than Islamist terrorists have. If you make an apples to apples comparison, Christian countries are MORE violent historically, and much of the mass violence in Muslim countries now is being abetted by western weapons and air strikes.

The root problem isn't Islam or Christianity, it's fundamentalism and especially tribalism. Religion is more an excuse for violence than a cause.

A good friend's daughter just got back from a vacation in Cuba. She said it was OK, not great, not like going to Aruba or South Beach but then again she's 25.

Turkey would disagree with your assessment. So would Lebanon up until the 1980's. Beirut used to be called the Paris of the Middle East.

BS opinion piece. There is nothing to fear from the Christian community, nothing at all. Radical Islam on the other would kill every America if they could figure out how to do it, that is a simple fact. It's a good thing they are barbaric, backwards Neanderthals.

How's Beirut doing these days? Turkey is also on shaky ground. Tell me the best Islamic country to move to if I were a practicing Christian.
