A new investigation into the special forces raid targeting Al-Qaeda militants in Yemen has found the the operation went “dreadfully wrong,” killing nine children under the age of 13, with the youngest victim a three-month-old baby. In the first military operation authorized under President Trump, U.S. commandos launched a raid on an Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula stronghold (AQAP) in the al-Bayda province, leaving at least 25 civilians dead, as well as a U.S. soldier. But new evidence from the Bureau of Investigative Journalism (BIJ) reveals the extent of the mission’s collateral damage. http://www.newsweek.com/trumps-yemen-raid-killed-nine-children-what-went-wrong-554611 |

Crucially, the AQAP leader who was apparently the central target of the raid, remains elusive. But he has issued a mocking response to Trump’s first major foreign policy decision in an 11-minute audio message: “The new fool of the White House received a painful slap across his face.” |

funny but left wing VOX.. says it wasn't Trumps fault.. and they would be right esp since it really is the military planners fault.. as VOX pointed out very clearly.. There’s no evidence the botched Yemen raid was Trump’s fault http://www.vox.com/world/2017/2/2/14485736/trump-fault-yemen-raid-al-qaeda |

Far be it for the President to actually be responsible for the military actions he authorized, instead let's by all means heap the blame on some lower level subordinate. Because that's how a real President behaves... |

Obama was in fact responsible for everything, good and bad, that happened during his administration. It's just that you refused to see any of the good and insisted on trying to portray everything as bad. But that's on you. |
