The stupidity of socialist government and the emotion based left has reached record levels. France is planning on a project to build 1000 kilometers of road with specially designed solar panels. This project will supply 5 million people in France with electricity if it is successful. Though many solar experts are skeptical of this project, the french government has given the go-ahead to this venture. http://www.therenewableworld.com/2017/02/france-to-build-1000km-of-road-with.html |

President Le Pen can't take office soon enough. |

Skipping leg day is the equivalent of a woman having an abortion. You're ashamed of it, and it was probably unnecessary. #MAGA #wallsnotwars | |

It will probably get a better result than that dumb wall Trump wants to build. |

Good, glad to see a country focusing on infrastructure. I'm sure the GOP could learn a thing or two... |

What does a wall cost? At least one seeks the future. The other seeks easily frightened individuals and offers them the opportunity to cower in a cave. |

If that's the case feel free to return the trillion plus in taxes liberals pay every year and then proceed without them. I won't hold my breath that conservative one will back up a cheap comment like you made with cash. |

This isn't the future - this is mental retardation. Solar panels belong on roof tops, not roads. If I have to explain why - then you belong in that latter group. Edited by estonianman, Feb 12 2017, 09:50 PM.

Nicolaus Copernicus develops the heliocentric model of the universe. Then the future of reality. Today just fact. You lose! Edited by Coast2coast, Feb 12 2017, 11:38 PM.

I don't need the Internet for the basics of science. Perhaps you do. You lose because you represent short sighted thinking as many before you in history have when it comes to their (your) lack of forward thinking. Like that caveman that grunted that man will never harness the making of fire. |

Then why not spend the money to put solar panels on rooftops? Why roads? explain that comrade, the floor is yours. |

Why not pursue both? This method may in the end be impractical. Then again it may not if advancements make the cost practical. Or maybe in reviewing the experiment as often happens a discovery will make the entire project just a jumping off point for something yet unimagined or undiscovered. You don't advance by sitting still. You don't get to the moon or create a polio vaccine. You advance by imagination being turned into the practical. Sometimes it works, sometimes its a total failure. That's how we move forward in life and in a greater form humanity. |

There's a difference between the leading edge and the bleeding edge. As a fan of solar energy I still have to think this is going to end up being another liberal boondoggle. |
