Either factual data was leaked, or the media organizations that claim to receive the leaks, made stuff up.

If the first is true, Trump might be able to get a conviction, but at a cost of proving the information damaging him is true.

If the second is true, then there's nothing to convict anyone of.

My guess is that this is just more Trump BS, and nothing's going to happen,

Excellent. The problem is deep rooted and needs to be corrected. The DC establishment and unfortunately our intelligence agencies have all become beholding to the democrat party. Party loyalty appears to come before the national interests. I'm thinking a major purge is in order.

I tend to agree. More bluster and BS from Trump, but nothing will come of it. I don't think his administration even has the expertise to launch an investigation of the DOJ, let alone the various intelligence agencies.

And if our various intelligence agencies aren't savvy enough to leak information to the press without leaving a trail that leads right back to them, then they're not worth what we're paying them anyway.

"savvy enough?" - the leak was a felony crime, whoever did it.
