http://www.news4jax.com/news/talkers/russias-prank-voice-message-press-3-for-election-interference (CNN) - Moscow has been emphatic in its denials of allegations that it interfered the US election process. But that didn't stop the Russian Foreign Ministry poking fun at the claims in an April Fools' Day spoof. On Saturday it published what it said was a new automated answering message for the switchboards of Russian embassies around the world. "You have reached the Russian embassy, your call is very important to us," the audio message begins. "To arrange a call from a Russian diplomat to your political opponent, press 1." "To use the services of Russian hackers, press 2," and "to request election interference, press 3." Edited by Demagogue, Apr 3 2017, 12:44 PM.

Here in Russia most people can't believe you are serious over ther about Russian involvement in US elections. I mean a joke repeatid multiple times is not funny, an allegation repeated multiple times without presenting any proofs cannot be considered seriously. So, we think since this story is kept on life support regardless of absence of any evidence and with quite expectable results - we should at least have some fun out of this prosess

The only joke is the reaction of folks on the left. The Russians attempt to influence every election of every nation that is of any importance to them. We do the exact same thing. Generally speaking they evaluate the candidates and then support whoever they think will be less of a threat to attack them. Usually they support the democrat candidate in US elections but this time around it was a special case due to Clinton's bad relationship with Putin. Here is the thing though, they did try to hack both parties. They succeeded only with the DNC and one of the possible reasons for that success is the fact that Clinton's campaign manger has a brother who is a paid supporter of Russia. This is a guy who would have had access to his brother and his brother's offices in addition to being a guy who would be considered a trusted email sender. If you know how the exploit that was used works you need someone like Podesta's brother to be the source of the contaminated email that then breaks through the protections. The DNC is running around screaming about the Russians and their connection to the RNC (which they have provided zero proof of) while they have people with access who are actually paid consultants of Russia. :oyvey |

about paid consultants, I wonder how much an interference into some elections will you call this case, of course using recent scale of Russiagate, when a handshake with an ambassador makes you a KGB agent ![]() https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spinning_Boris though, in that film they attributed success to American consultants, but there are too many evidences the elections were falsified. With American support, of course... Anyway, we here just cannot understand what is all this fuss about in the US, concerning elections.. Edited by Siberian, Apr 4 2017, 02:48 PM.
