Trump has said his attitude toward President Bashar Assad and Syria has "changed very much," when asked at a joint news conference with Jordan's King Abdullah if the alleged chemical attack in Idlib crossed a red line. https://www.rt.com/usa/383624-trump-syria-red-line/ |

Of course Trump is a hostage of American mass brainwashing machine, most people think what MSM put in their heads. He cannot ignore "brutal Assad's war crimes" MSM is talking about... For example that it was not jihadists chemical weapons storage was bombed by Assad, but it was Assad, which was accused many times by opposition and the West of having used gas before - for some reason decided to use a gas one more time to achieve ... - I wonder to achieve what except another wave of accusations ![]() And we should not forget, that the news was brought by "White helmets" , a Western sponsored media-branch of jihadists. Whatever, it seems now Trump has a perfect chance to answer to Democrats with some desisive action against Assad, which will for sure will be a challenge for Putin. I myself am extremely curious how Putin will respond, his adventure in Syria if fails - also questions his soft line in Ukraine. What for all these efforts, resourses spent in Syria and consessions in Ukraine if he finally failed to make the US negotiable.? His choise to appease Americans in Ukraine was because he's not a wise strong leader but a weak and stupid American puppet... ![]() ![]() Edited by Siberian, Apr 6 2017, 02:34 AM.

even the US admits jihadists have and use chemical weapons against their rivals. In syria chemical weapons were used in Assad-jihadists front (multiple times, both sides accuse the opposite one) and in jihadists-Kurds frontline by jihadists. But according to the US - jihadists may use chem weapon against Kurds but never against the government abd their chem storage cannot be bombed... it's always Assad by default... ISIS used chemical weapons against the Kurds, US officials say http://thehill.com/policy/defense/269551-isis-used-chemical-weapons-against-the-kurds-us-officials-say Edited by Siberian, Apr 6 2017, 08:15 AM.

If a few dozen died from chemical weapons, it is unlikely Assad"s Air Force bombed with chemical weapons....That would probably kill a few hundred....This gives credence to Russia's claim that Assad dropped conventional bombs that hit a rebel weapons workshop that had some chemical weapons in it...Use your heads.............. :oyvey |

We are talking about the Syrian government here. With that said, I am not sure if you noticed or not but ISIS has not been having a very good first quarter of the year. They have been losing quite a bit of ground in Iraq and even Syria. That of course is partially thanks to Russia and the Syrians. As someone else pointed out, if this was an air dropped weapon then the Russian story about the weapons belonging to the rebels may have merit since most of Syria's chemical weapons were rockets and artillery. H4T was talking about our government. Trump is no more averse to war than HRC would have been. |

D. Trump: My Administration will aggressively pursue joint and coalition military operations to crush and destroy ISIS, international cooperation to cutoff their funding, expanded intelligence sharing, and cyberwarfare to disrupt and disable their propaganda and recruiting. We cannot allow the internet to be used as a recruiting tool, and for other purposes, by our enemy – we must shut down their access to this form of communication, and we must do so immediately. http://www.politico.com/story/2016/08/donald-trump-terrorism-speech-227025 Edited by CautionaryTales, Apr 6 2017, 06:24 PM.

The American people voted no to Syrian refugees and no to a Syrian war. |

Taking in Syrian refugees, an humanitarian response to Assads attacks on civilians is one of the choice that Trump has to consider. That along with differing levels of war with Syrias government and the chance of killing Russians along the way. Doing something means doing something. He has written off walking away by his comments today. Unless he flips again.... He prolly needs to tweet it out for suggestions? Edited by CautionaryTales, Apr 6 2017, 08:23 PM.

lol, ISIS is celebrating now, I suppose, after the strikes ![]() I wonder what is the general plan of actions in Syria, except appeasing critics at home for some time? ![]() By the way, I expect Democrats to resume their attacks with something like " you're the president, wou should have not listened to us, irresponsible idiots and start the war with Russia, we didn't mean it, it was just rethorics" ![]() and again and again - do you remember what the last season of House of cards has ended with? I just can't wait, so many things happened since the last season, I am extremely curious how they will reflect all this in the plot of new series. Edited by Siberian, Apr 7 2017, 05:41 AM.
