The American people voted no to Syrian refugees and no to a Syrian war.
You were laboring under the delusion that Trump gives a damn what the American people want.
I'm sorry. You got played.
In the meantime.
There will be no wall.
Maybe a few new gates, but no wall.

Fashy got punked.
The democrats got punked - their theory of Russian collusion which was full of holes anyway, was completely toasted last night.

You are now going to have to face reality and accept that the DNC is corrupt and their ideas suck. That's why they lost.

You got punked.

Why not? This sort of thing is common in history.

The only faction that stands to gain from this is the FSA.

yes, exactly, Trump having turned to Obama scenarios in Syria has the same set of some Qatar's proposals, the same jihadists and White helnets, the same contractors, US military, the same CIA and generally the same options.
All he has to do is to reject or approve, before in his campaign he was rejecting it, now approves.
part of scenario may be fulfilled without his permission but later he may faice the nessesity of choise of of choises he has alrwady made, the next one will be firect fight with Russia and this is realky dangerous and even present Democratic critucs will unleash all dogs upon him if his choice brings trouble which they advocate now.
If "Assad used chemical weapons" - he must act in either way, or to "demonstrate he's Putin's buddy" or the opposite.
Trump proved to be a typical US president which sacrifices long term national US interests for sake of his presidential term. But Syria won't help him, having lost part of his supporters - he will not get new ones, even if Democrats and some McCain approve his actions niw - for them he's still not acceptable for numerous other reasons and he will later be critisized for the very Syria when things go wrong and be sure they will go wrong.

We can probably expect Assad and Putin to initiate massive attacks on America's "moderate" rebels "allies" in Syria........ :oyvey

bombing jihadists is not a demonstrative response. Russia will go on bombing jihadists as it did, maybe we'll just not hear what the West says on this regard.
Kremlin already said that in its actions and relations with the US it will take into account unpredictability of current US administration. I.e. nothing will be trusted in advance, no deal can be done with the US without numerous measures to compensate it.
