The UK foreign secretary has called off a visit to Moscow in the wake of the Syrian chemical weapons attack.

Boris Johnson, who had been due to travel on Monday, said the situation had changed "fundamentally" and his priority was to build international support for a ceasefire.

He said the UK called on Russia to do everything possible to bring about a "political settlement in Syria".

"We deplore Russia's continued defence of the Assad regime," he added.

I wonder how Theresa May feels about Boris Johnson canceling his Moscow trip? Not very good I'd wager, considering she's about as right-wing as it gets in British politics.

I always laugh at outsiders wanting to broker a ceasefire and settlement between crazy , primitive Arabs....That sounds as likely as trying to break up dog fights between several pitbulls................ :rotflmao:

To put it bluntly, if it wasn't for all that black gold, then only the do-gooders would really care.

Who do you think was behind the Chemical attack in Syria? ISIS or the Moderate Rebels?

who cares.. but, as I said, in case of nuclear war the UK must be hit first anyway, it would be fair, they have asked for it as nobody else... :)
but I thought the visit was already canceled. I read something several days ago, Johnson was already playing that card and Moscow said something like - we're surprused he was ever going to Moscow, we never invited him... :)
or something like that, the UK is a marginal country, I don't follow news on it thoroughly... :)

Al Qaeda supplies of sarin were blown up by Assads bomb's.....The small number of Syrians killed, compares to an intentional Assad Air Force attack that killed 1,400 in one night......... :dunno:
