US: "You can't use gas!"
Assad: "k, I'll set them on fire instead."

Assad does very little fighting against ISIS. The groups mostly fighting ISIS are the Kurds and FSA. Assad has mostly focused on the FSA and other moderate groups that most threaten his hold on power.

Ya, that's what I said.

The US should not be involved militarily in any way inside of Syria.

U.S. bolsters protection of forces in Syria as tensions climb
Quote:

The United States has made slight adjustments to its military activities in Syria to strengthen protection of American forces following cruise missile strikes last week on a Syrian air base that heightened tensions, U.S. officials told Reuters on Monday.

The officials, citing the need to safeguard operations in Syria, declined to specify exactly what measures the United States has taken after the strikes, which Damascus, Tehran and Moscow have roundly condemned. They spoke on condition of anonymity.

All jokes aside, if you thought that you had discovered a stockpile of chemical weapons and wanted to destroy them safely then you would need to drop something like thermite...

there was no need for thermite at the WTC.

Just ask Atlanta, all it took to collapse a large section of interstate was a homeless person, some matches, and some old construction materials...

Yup. Weakening steel is a lot easier than people realize. It doesn't have to fully melt to lose a lot of strength.

Oh stop... under UN Resolutions it was the Responsibility of RUSSIA to secure and deactivate Syria's Chemical and Biological stockpiles...

Yet under your eyes and Noses (Maybe with Russia turning a blind eye) Assad launches a Chemical attack against his own people...

Shut up and tend to your puppet Assad...

Trump needs to focus more so on the male vote. He should have nationalized the Boy Scouts when they decided to admit girls.

No you are incorrect. One is an over pass. One is a building. 2 completely different construction types.

I'm not keen to take this thread further off topic, but the functions and physical properties of steel beams and concrete slabs are basically the same in a bridge or a building. At 550C steel has lost about half its room temperature strength.

Buildings use box steep beams encased in concrete and exposed/insulated.

Overpasses use concrete/rebar columns and exposed I-Beam.
