Did Trump demand loyalty from Comey, yes or no?
I heard this, I also heard that Trump raped a 14 year old, that he pissed on Obama's bed, that he jacked off to Hentai porn, that his wife was a lot lizard, that Trump suffers from dementia, that he wants to hang black people, that he is a Russian manchurian candidate....
Since the media is basically full of s**t we need more evidence.
And did Trump do a 180 and admit that he was thinking about Russia and the investigation when he decided to fire Comey, yes or no?
You need evidence
The answers: Yes on both
The answer - you imagine that this is the truth because it supports your anti-trump agenda. The truth is you have been frequently full of s**t the last 18 months and chances are - you are full of s**t now.

If he's being investigated...what for? Collusion? Leaders of the democrat party have already said there is no evidence of it at all...and the FBI has been looking for it for almost a year. You are empty handed as usual...
When Trump demanded to know from Comey if he was loyal to him, he was attempting to obstruct justice. By firing him, he was actively obstructing justice
''It's not the crime, it's the cover-up'' Obstruction of justice is the cover-up
and when did that happen Matlock? Stop being vague and present the evidence that nobody else including the feds seem to have. Why would anyone else have the evidence? The FBI are the ones investigating the allegations. Do you even think about what you post?

I'd like a link to a MSM media site that reported all those items you listed. You are confusing Internet rumors with journalism. Of course being a Rightie I can see why you are confused. You rely on Internet blogs and rumors for news to support your views.
As to the him admitting he was looking to end the Russian investigation, the evidence is in his own words in the interview with NBC. The only question with Trump is when he speaks is he lying now or lying before?

They have issues subpoenas which is something that we publicly know. What we are not privileged to is what they are working in the background of secrecy that is necessary for an investigation like this.

Buzzfeed and CNN ran with the Russian Dossier crap. Buzzfeed did but I do not consider them a legitimate journalistic news site. CNN did not. They did not release the contents of the dossier. All they have done is report on its existence and the actual news around it, like the fact that the Intel community has apparently verified parts of the dossier. That is reasonable journalism and is not "fake" news, it is backed up with reporting and multiple sources.

Evidence of the Russian government assisting Wikileaks? The only thing that is relevant is the content of Wikileaks. Hillary, Podesta is scum. I weep for Huma.
As far as connections to Trump, bring it on. I doubt Trump would act in the manner that he has if he was guilty of anything.

Releasing the dossier contents without verifying their accuracy is questionable. But then since the Right likes Wikileaks and how it operates then I guess you shouldn't have a problem with Buzzfeed.

The investigation has multiple parts, only one is whether and how the Russians impacted the election. It is also about Americans who were working for foreign governments without registering as required by law and whether anyone on the campaign colluded with the Russians during the election.

I am okay with that. I think its a waste of time for the reasons I outlined above - but whatever.
No connection to Trump though - at least not one that is even remotely substantiated.
Which is why this thread and the posters supporting are full of s**t.

The answer - you imagine that this is the truth because it supports your anti-trump agenda. The truth is you have been frequently full of s**t the last 18 months and chances are - you are full of s**t now.

and I have to say - I remember the days right before Wikileaks started reporting on the Obama war atrocities and the surveillance state when the left liked Wikileaks.
I've never like Wikileaks and there is no way you can verify whether what they are releasing is accurate or not. There are reports that the Russians created some of those emails to discredit particular people or issues. There is no way to prove otherwise without forcing someone to open up their computers and emails and even then it won't prove anything. That is why it is so diabolical.
You cannot say the dossier is inaccurate and neither can you say it is accurate. You would need to investigate the contents to provide that evidence. Most reports have made this clear. There are indications that the government has investigated it and has verified that some of the dossier is accurate.
If you think "fake news" is what you stated then that explains a lot. "Fake News" is not inaccurate or mistaken reporting by someone who believes it is true. It comes from Internet posters who posted "news" that they made up and knew it was not true. They posted these "stories" to make money by getting people to click on their posts.
While the Left was hit with these "fake news" stories, it was really the Right that allowed it to take off. The Right Blog-o-Sphere would pick up these stories and repost them on site after site providing a continued revenue source for the originator.

I've never like Wikileaks and there is no way you can verify whether what they are releasing is accurate or not. Hillary and crew admitted to the veracity of the wikileaks emails by trying to shift the blame onto the Russians - as opposed to denying the content.
Wikileaks prides itself on the authenticity of its leaks - and if only one piece of material out of the hundreds of thousands released was proven inaccurate - the entire organization would be discredited. Hence their due diligence vetting the material. Until it is proven inaccurate - I trust that it is 100% accurate.
and by the way - that includes information released on Donald Trump.

Both Podesta and the DNC had said some of the emails released where false.
And the Russians did release the material to Wikileaks and Wikileaks continues to participate in the Kremlin's activities.

A presidential administration is a much larger and more complex organization than the cast of Celebrity Apprentice and, of course, vastly more significant. Reading the flood of defensive posts made by Trump supporters, it is striking how lacking in perspective are his apologists. Beyond the silly quacking about so-called "fake news" or his mishandling of everything from congressional relations to South Korean diplomacy is the unprecedented wave of firings, resignations, retractions, confused statements, legislative paralysis and many other indicators of administrative incompetence.
I know that Trump's voters were driven by frantic hatred of his opponent and that they were strongly moved by his many campaign promises, despite their frequent inconsistencies and contradictions. I understand the attraction; what is harder to comprehend is the willful blindness to how the guy has fallen down on the job more spectacularly than any president in a century. You may like the guy and hate his rivals but you can't ignore his inability to deliver.

Worth noting, Trump has already admitted to an impeachable offense. There is no real need for more witnesses at this point. But there will be a thorough reckoning made of what is next. As the op says, none of this is going to go away. It is just a matter of the best way to handle the inevitable.

The Senate committee is hot on the trail of money laundering at Trump's Taj Mahal Casino in the 1990s. Cross-checking big "winners" (the standard way to launder dirty money is to buy chips with it then cash them in again as winnings reported to the IRS) with family partners and Russian business colleagues is building a map of sketchy international partnerships.
Trump's recent clean bill of health from a tax law firm, a bit of non-evidence as demonstrably fake as his medical report during the campaign, rather naively looks only at money transfers from Moscow and ignores loans and deals made through well-known Russian fronts in places like Cyprus. The Senate is not fooled by that childish bit of fluff and is hard a work chasing Trump through Russian money outlets around the globe. The preliminary results are breathtaking and will be made public through hearings within the month. Stay tuned.

They probably already have enough to bring articles of impeachment to the floor. They might be looking at a situation where they think have enough to lock him up for a long time if they keep looking. A simple resignation may not be enough to save him from Leavenworth.
