TrumpCare Collapses, Man, That's Winning!

Comes a point when all one can do is laugh. Remember when Trump promised us on the campaign trail that "Obamacare would be repealed on his first day in office"? That along with getting rid of ISIS within 30 days, Tax reform and Infrastructure are now just all stuck in the mud like so many boats at low tide.

Read it and weep Trumpsters:

GOP's repeal-only plan quickly collapses in Senate; http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/342534-gops-repeal-only-plan-quickly-collapses-in-senate

"Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Ala.) says she will not support moving forward with a plan to repeal ObamaCare with a delayed replacement, effectively killing the latest legislative gambit from Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.)

Murkowski, who had balked at the last version of the ObamaCare bill, said she is a "no" on the motion to proceed to a repeal-only plan. She is the third Republican senator to take that position."

GOP reeling after healthcare collapse; http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/342457-gop-reeling-after-healthcare-collapse

"Republicans offered competing ideas for what to do next on healthcare Monday night, now that the current ObamaCare replacement effort has fallen apart.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) acknowledged late Monday that the chamber’s current approach would fail after two more senators announced opposition to the current healthcare draft.

Without the needed votes, he said, the Senate will take up a repeal-only bill that Congress passed in 2015."

It's a minor obstacle. Consider that his winning streak has been overwhelmingly driving leftists to the edge of insanity, this is a minor setback.
Kate Steinle was separated from her family permanently but leftists didn't seem to mind.

The problem the Republicans are now facing is that they've managed to do further harm to Obamacare and yet haven't been able to repeal and replace it, nor just repeal it. So, what do they do now? If they do nothing, they're going to face a fair amount of political fall out for that. If they do something, they're going to have to get Democrats on board which means they'll probably have to accept that the most conservative Republicans will be dead set against whatever and they can't count on those votes. Will they be willing to do something over the objections of the most extreme Republicans? I'm doubtful.

Which leaves them with doing nothing, which really isn't going to be a winning hand for them either.

Explain how ObamaCare has been "working"????

It is failing on every level

It's a tax on the middle class to pay for the very very poor...

Worth mentioning is that the ACA was slammed byCongress 54 times while Obama was President.
Why? Because they knew that they would not have to implement their toxic fantasy. Obama was their savior. Ironic.

Then when it cam time for them to produce legislation that they would be held to account for, they failed to deliver.

54-1. The 1 was when it counted.

Stinkin losers

Another s**tty bill. Paul "muh' Ayn Rand" Ryan moved the fines for not paying into health insurance from the government to the private sector.

Now the ACA will get repealed.

Yup it's a real winner for the Republicans:

Tensions reach new high between Trump, GOP; http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/342650-tensions-reach-new-high-between-trump-gop

"Tensions are bubbling over between President Trump and Senate Republicans.

White House officials are blaming Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) for getting stuffed at the goal line on ObamaCare repeal-and-replace legislation, while GOP senators say Trump failed to provide any meaningful political momentum for the prized measure.

“He was of no help,” grumbled one GOP senator, who doubted that Trump would have done much to defend lawmakers from political attacks if the bill passed.

The Republican Health-Care Meltdown http://www.newyorker.com/news/john-cassidy/the-republican-health-care-meltdown

“If the Republican Party’s crusade to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act is truly over, Monday night provided a fittingly sudden and chaotic ending. Early in the evening, two conservative Republican senators—Mike Lee, of Utah, and Jerry Moran, of Kansas—issued statements saying that they wouldn’t support the revised health-care-reform bill that Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader, released last Thursday. Since the Republicans have a majority of just two in the Senate, and two other Republicans—Susan Collins, of Maine, and Rand Paul, of Kentucky—had already announced that they wouldn’t vote for the legislation, the effort to secure its passage looked lost."

Healthcare debacle raises pressure for GOP on taxes; http://thehill.com/policy/finance/342641-healthcare-debacle-raises-pressure-for-gop-on-taxes

"The GOP’s setback on healthcare is raising pressure on Republicans to deliver a win for their party and the White House on taxes ahead of the midterm elections.

ObamaCare repeal and tax reform were two of the GOP’s biggest priorities at the start of the year, and expectations for success were high given the party’s control of the House, Senate and White House.

With the collapse of the Senate’s effort to pass healthcare legislation, the stakes are even higher for Republicans on tax reform."

The R's have had seven years of grandstanding, stomping their feet, holding their breath and other sorts of pre juvenile behavior regarding how healthcare is administered in the USA.
Why? Because they had Obama standing there to ignore their theatrics. It's easy to pick a fight when you know someone is gonna save your azz before you take a punch.

Do the Republicans wish Obama was still there to allow them to continue their fake concern for the middle class and the poor? You betcha they do. You won't hear it but now that they have lost their cover it seems that the fifity four (?) times they passed a repeal of the ACA was just an exercise in bulls***.

Frauds...every stinking one of them.
And the ducks that quack behind them are no better.

Everybody knows the Dems are full of it which is why they are currently a regional party.

This is a win as it shows how full of shiat the GOPe are. It's now on full display. Now we can go about purging those who are DC first versus we the people first.

Only liberals can choose not to go down the road to widespread, systematic violence.
