Local Local Trump backers on Medicaid unshaken; I hope Republicans pass repeal so these people die

Mrs. Noaker, a 61-year-old Liberty Center resident, and her husband are proud Trump supporters.

But under the Senate Republicans’ derailed Obamacare replacement bill — a bill which Mr. Trump supported before Republican defections all but killed the measure Monday — Mr. Noaker could have seen his Medicaid benefits curtailed. If that happened, Mrs. Noaker didn’t know how she’d manage.

“I am like tearing myself into pieces to get all of the jobs that I have,” she said. “It’s not easy to be working three to four jobs and find time to sleep, find time to stay with him.”

Still, her support for the President never wavered — and will not, she says, even if he signs into law a bill that threatens her husband’s health care coverage.

The biggest fear that Americans have if Medicaid is reduced is that granny will move out of the nursing home and into their basement....They couldn't care less if their junky son loses his medicaid....The sooner he dies the better...... :dunno:

Then she is an idiot with all neurons not connecting which is just as well because they are not connected either.

Perhaps President Trump will send an official her way when her husband passes to be sure he isn't still voting. I'm sure she will appreciate it.

You can tolerate the harm that is going to come to millions.

But there are some of us that give a damn and we're speaking out. And no, I have no sympathy for those that get hurt while voting to see harm come to others.

This is why democrats (and to some degree, old guard republicans) support programs that support government dependency - no one dependent ever wants those benefits withdrawn.

This is why anyone that receives monetary benefits from government should have their right to vote withdrawn.

The viability and effectiveness of the programs is irrelevant - political capital for fear mongering however is.

Just look at the usual suspects in this thread.

My giving a damn along with a strong patriotism to country is not going to change.

That's your path, not mine.
