The Democratic Party focuses on anti-Trump rhetoric but largely ignores the corruption among its members. While party leaders fend off progressives’ calls for reform, the current Democrats in office serve as walking examples of why accountability is needed. As voters become privy to the party’s incessant scandals, they become apathetic and disenfranchised.

It's not off topic to consider the source.

And if "The Observer" was really interested in govt. corruption they would not be one sided in their reporting of it.

So the article then is seen as slanted at which point you have to consider the source and that's on topic because their reporting comes into question.

You hate that I know.

NYTimes and WAPO are completely delegitimatized - they'll be out of business in 5 years.

Do you know who the publisher was?

Do you know who it is now?

Do you know the meaning of bias reporting?

The hysterical use of "piling up" begs the examination. A better title would have been "Corruption Perhaps Is Not One Sided"

Actually they are....

Just 30 percent of Americans said they have a “great deal” or “good amount” of trust in the news media, the poll shows.

The poll found that 37 percent of adults said they trust the media “not at all,” while another 31 percent said they have “not very much” trust in the news media.

Oh, I fully understand that the conservative full court press to delegitimize legitimate news sources has done its damage but they will still be around.

Some of that damage to this key foundation of a free society will be permanent just as there will always be a KKK in this free society. But just as the influence of the KKK has diminished so will the conservative undermining of legitimate news sources find less favor in time.

Oh and just as the United States has an unqualified President, it will take more than a poll of citizens lied to by this administration to make legitimate news anything less than what it is - legitimate news whether you like it or not.

No, but you still abide by the number one rule of modern day conservatism - "Stay in the dark!"

The thread creator has not been attacked by me, neither has the link. I just point out some extreme bias in the publication - is that a problem for you? Does that make you question the article in question? Funny, I didn't question the article, just the impression it was trying to make which was a bias one and thus the examination of the publication itself.

I denied nothing in that article.

Enjoy your popcorn. Floundering flavored?

I did not deny anything in that article because what little was offered was not opinion but news of a handful of bad players that got caught. Wasserman Schultz unfolding and that's fine to examine as it looks like it should be.

That's not "Scandals Piling Up for Democrats" Had they not been using the hysterical "piling up" then its a report and we are done. But like conservatives and conservatives publications do, the report is not enough. They have to try and inflate it and make it seem like more than it is and completely a one sided event.

Look, we all know that this disaster unfolding in this White House is the catalyst for these attempted distractions. So have at it, you won't change the focus off the growing investigations of the Trump personnel that we are seeing.

And as we get closer to his taxes it will only get worse. Next up articles that will ferret out only Democratic Tax issues and it will call them "piling up".

"Hey look - shinyyy... no, not so shiny.... damn!"
