I have an iMac and I've tried printing a letter with no success. I even set it to print with just black ink. It said I needed to replace the color cartridges which I did. I replaced the black cartridge maybe a month ago, but I doubt it has been used up. In fact, when I check the color supplies it has black as being full and ironically, the color cartridges that I replaced tonight as being low.

Can anybody help?

First thing I'd do is remove both cartridges, turn the printer off, then turn back on and reinstall.

If they're aftermarket (not printer mfr cartridges) they might not communicate properly with the iMac.

If all else fails try reinstalling the printer software. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Last resort, you could try downloading cutepdf http://www.cutepdf.com/ it installs like a printer and lets you convert documents to .pdf sometimes easier to print from there.
