President Trump’s speech Monday night on Afghanistan—his first prime-time address since his speech to Congress in March—contained a few good lines but no real substance. He billed it as the outline of “our path forward in Afghanistan and South Asia,” “a new strategy,” and “a plan for victory”—but in fact, it was none of the above.

Look, let's be completely honest here. Donny is in so far over his head that his nose is going to bleed for a week to ten days. The absolute best we can hope for is that he manages to maintain some semblance of the status quo, because clearly the man does not know how to make things better.

I was bummed President Trump didn't draw any red lines... :shakeshead:

Only liberals can choose not to go down the road to widespread, systematic violence.

I was bummed President Trump didn't draw any red lines... :shakeshead:

He can't make a commitment since it would be just one more lie that he would tell. His whole administration is about being non-committal.

I was also bummed he said the word Pakistan like an oafish dolt....how I long for the days of President Obama's Pock-ee-stahn.
