Predators have been a workhorse for the military for over 15 years. There are a lot of flight hours on those units. It is not surprising that they crash. It is surprising that they don't crash more often. The US has had issues with their data links in the past. It is possible that an external force (hacker, jammer, etc.) caused these accidents but we will have to see what the investigation finds. |
