North Korea has announced that its latest test of Hwasong-12 missile, observed by the country’s leader Kim Jong-un, was a successful demonstration of Pyongyang’s determination to counter any potential threat stemming from the US' joint drills with South Korea. “This ballistic rocket launch drill… is the first step in military operations on the Pacific Ocean conducted by our troops and will be a meaningful prelude to containing Guam Island,” the North's official KCNA news agency quoted Kim as saying. https://www.rt.com/news/401372-pyongyang-missile-prelude-guam/ |

Japan promised some time ago to shoot down North Korean missiles. Japan has US-made anti-missile systems. This recent Korean missile flew right above Japaneze territory. And Japan did nothing. What was the reason? Japaneze US-made systems failed to detect it? Or to take aim? Are Japaneze see American arms too unreliable to expose their uselessness with an unsuccesful attempt to shoot down Korean missiles? In any case it exposes emptiness of US threats against North Korea. North Korea can do whatever it wishes and US and Japan combined cannot protect themselves from Korean missiles. All huge money spent on US missile shield is spent in vain... Edited by Siberian, Aug 30 2017, 01:44 AM.
