in USSR plants producing naval and helicopter engines were built in Ukraine. To dusrupt such chains of industrial cooperation was one of goals of US-sponsored nazi coup in Ukraine. Among other goals of course. Now both types of engines are already produced in Russia (helicopter, though so far in smaller numbers) or are being prepared for production soon, as naval engines.. But still I think this may be one of ways of coping with the problem As well it seems yo be a better solutions for long distances and oceans... ![]() Edited by Siberian, Aug 31 2017, 06:36 AM.
