Any State that rebels against the federal government is subject to invasion by federal military force, Imprisonment or hanging of that State's political leaders, and martial law until good order can be restored...Aiding and abetting invaders is treason...........
1. there is no issue of rebellion, the issue is local law enforcement's role in enforcing federal law 2. there is no statutory penalty for rebellion against the federal government 3. in the only rebellion so far imprisonment and hanging of Confederate leaders were not used 4. illegal immigrants do not fit the definition of invaders, they are not armed and do not comit an act of war So many false statements in a single post is truly worth of fake news, or maybe it is just dumb lies, hard to tell the difference after a Thanksgiving Day dinner. They are often armed and have killed thousands of American citizens...I'm certain that Trump's new SCOTUS will clarify these issues for you..........

And raped, robbed, and stolen from American citizens...Our prisons and jails are not filled with hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens because they sing loud in church............ The GAO, using DOJ data, found between 2008-2014, that 38% of all murder convictions on California, Texas, Arizona, Florida, and New York were by illegal aliens, while only being 5.6% of the population....You guys are clueless about who is the troll and who are apologists for invaders.............

You are seriously stating that illegal immigrants "have killed thousands of Americans"? Link please Thousands is a gross understatement....

In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) are for illegal aliens.

In the five years since an unlicensed illegal immigrant ran down his son, Don Rosenberg has turned his anger and grief into a mission to answer a seemingly simple question: How many people are killed each year by drivers who don’t belong in the U.S., much less behind a wheel?
-
As many as 7,500 Americans -- 20 per day -- are killed annually by unlicensed drivers, and Rosenberg calculates that more than half are the victims of illegal immigrants.

“Our archives are filled with stories of drunk-driving illegals killing U.S. citizens,” William Gheen, of the Americans for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee, told FoxNews.com. “It is our official estimate that more than 3,000 U.S citizens lose their lives each year due to the insufficient enforcement of our existing border and immigration law.”
You need more?
TAPPER: Under a new sanctuary city law that you approved in October 2014, the city of New York shields from the feds undocumented immigrants who commit what are deemed to be lesser offenses. But they include drunk driving and grand larceny.
Why shouldn't the city of New York comply with federal law in this area? If you're are a drunk driver and you're an undocumented immigrant, why should there be a place for you in this country?

Thousands is a gross understatement.... LINK 1LINK 2In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) are for illegal aliens. LINK 3In the five years since an unlicensed illegal immigrant ran down his son, Don Rosenberg has turned his anger and grief into a mission to answer a seemingly simple question: How many people are killed each year by drivers who don’t belong in the U.S., much less behind a wheel? - As many as 7,500 Americans -- 20 per day -- are killed annually by unlicensed drivers, and Rosenberg calculates that more than half are the victims of illegal immigrants. LINK 4“Our archives are filled with stories of drunk-driving illegals killing U.S. citizens,” William Gheen, of the Americans for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee, told FoxNews.com. “It is our official estimate that more than 3,000 U.S citizens lose their lives each year due to the insufficient enforcement of our existing border and immigration law.” You need more? No, these ^^^ are quite sufficient and impressive. There is no doubt that Los Angeles, which probably has the highest number of illegals has some alarming statistics. Other CA cities are close behind, the proportion of illegals tracking with the crime statistics. Texas, which I believe has the other big number probably looks similar. Now, the interesting thing is that these states, which together have a majority of the illegals, are not part of the anti-Mexican furor. Hispanics from both sides of the border and with legal and illegal paperwork have been a part of the population base before statehood, indeed before the anglos arrived. The fear and anger about Mexicans comes from areas where the hispanic population has spiked in the last generation or two.
It seems to me that the proper response to the issue is two-fold. First, the federal government should tighten the borders until Congress is satisfied with the results. Second, ICE should deal with the problem of immigrants it failed to catch at the border but it should do so on a state-by-state basis. Priority should be given to states in which the citizens feel that widespread apprehension and deportation is what they want; states in which the local government does not see ICE activity in large-scale raids etc. as helpful should have a lower priority and more modest programs.
If the system worked perfectly, there would be no illegal immigrants. The system should be improved and the place to do that is at the point of entry. Cleaning up the mess made by inadequate border security is an issue on which public opinion is very divided. States' rights and local feelings should play a significant part in ICE programs in the interior. A nationally homogeneous, sweeping authoritarian federal government is not the America way.
