So Twitter suspended her account to prevent her from naming more Hollywood sexual predators and rapists.

What about the victims? Is that right C2C?

Is being suspended From Twitter a good thing or a bad thing? Because it sounds like a meaningless thing. :oyvey
“U bum. ... Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!" - LeBron James, addressing Trump directly in a tweet.

Twitter and FB turning into one big joke. Speak out against Twitter and FB's position, they will suspend you. These clowns talk a lot about the need for free speech but have no clue what free speech is all about.

Actually, she was suspended, because her tweets contained personal phone numbers, a violation of Twitter I believe, and whatever happened to your concept enshrined in our system of jurisprudence of "innocent until proven guilty", or is that just for right mined folks like yourself.

In a statement, a Twitter representative wrote that Ms. McGowan’s tweets violated the company’s privacy policy because one of them included a phone number.

“We have been in touch with Ms. McGowan’s team. We want to explain that her account was temporarily locked because one of her tweets included a private phone number, which violates of our Terms of Service. The tweet was removed and her account has been unlocked.

:dunno:

Why do you lie?
Worse still; now you mock the idea of concern for these women.

In this case its about releasing a private phone number which their rules for damn good reasons does not permit.

Account locked, Number removed. Tweeter informed. Account unlocked.

There are exceptions to everything. They can ban whoever they want, for whatever they want, as long as their criteria isn't illegal. Like discrimination based on being a member of a protected class.

There is no hypocrisy, as much as you would like there to be some.

There are categories of people protected by law from discrimination based on their being a member of that category. For example, you can ban a woman from twitter because she violated the rules of use and tweeted someone's home phone number. You cannot ban a woman from twitter for being a woman, because that would be gender discrimination which is illegal.

Not when you take into account of his response you pointedly ignored...."They can ban whoever they want, for whatever they want, as long as their criteria isn't illegal. Like discrimination based on being a member of a protected class."

The word you're ignoring is "alleged" at best, "lied about" at worst.

All bound by non-discrimination of protected classes.

Currently being eroded by this administration in the interest of discrimination.
