Next Leftist on the list... John Conners

https://www.buzzfeed.com/paulmcleod/she-complained-that-a-powerful-congressman-harassed-her?utm_term=.jk303MYNN#.qsRXqBENN

Funny, I was just watching this guy during the Sessions hearings, going on and on about how much he hates Trump, and I thought, “This old clown should be in a home, not Congress!”
Who's John Conners?

Conyers
the John Conyers who settled a sexual harassment suit by one of his staffers, it's all so sordid...

Rep. John Conyers admitted Tuesday to reaching a financial settlement with a former staffer who had accused him of sexual misconduct but the lawmaker denied having done anything improper.

"I expressly and vehemently denied the allegations made against me, and continue to do so," Conyers, a Michigan Democrat, said in a statement. "My office resolved the allegations — with an express denial of liability — in order to save all involved from the rigors of protracted litigation. That should not be lost in the narrative."

Ya, know, we tend to forget that this guy, Charlie Rose, was one powerful dude. He is/was a card-carrying member of the hoi polloi. He usually attended the yearly "World Economic Forum" in Davos, Swtizerland, as well as being a member of the Bilderberg Group. A mover and shaker to be sure....

Quoting limited to 5 levels deepAnother liberal bites the dust
Just stop dumping everything solely on conservatives....

Was that meant to be a serious comment?

I have been saying over and over again that this is not a matter of liberal or conservative or of a particular industry or political party. So seriously?

At the same time when I come into a topic that has the description of the topic as "Another liberal bites the dust", why should I not challenge the author and those that would defend that particular attitude? I'm sure that its not appreciated and that those of the authors political and personal persuasions and priorities would like me to ignore such a comment so that it just becomes "de facto" to the discussion but sorry, I want that articulated, described and defended. And if my replies break down that defense so be it.

So once again I open the opportunity to you since you were critical of my comment - "So let's hear your solution. What do we do? Let's hear what you have to offer.

"Another liberal bites the dust"???? :dunno:

Why don't you refer any comments you have on that topic to the actual thread or to the author....whatever? :oyvey

I have a 'feeling' that our C2C commentator is not getting into the spirit of fun here. (... :) ). Watching yet another prominent liberal being paraded in front of the camera's, and 'biting the dust to their careers,' is a hoot, ...no, it's hilarious. It's a 'feeling' of astonishment, of unexpected shock, to the average Kool Aid slurping liberal who preaches from the pulpit of sanctimonious righteousness, but like Moses returning from the clouds atop Mt. Sinai, discovers his flock below taking part in a giant orgy with all the sheep running for their lives. I'd smash those liberal "Ten Commandments" too, wouldn't you? "He with no sin shall cast the first stone!" But, this, ....this is ridiculous. I don't have to cast any stones, but I can surely point out the absurdity of it all, ....eh?

It's MORE than a feeling, ....it's the real deal!

You're right. I just don't see the fun in minimizing a serious situation involving the women in our lives in order to reduce it down to cheap politics. You do. :dunno:

I guess I'll just have to find my kicks elsewhere.
(Great album by the way!)

OK, ...OK, ...I won't.....! "Another one bites the dust" is so, so, ...in your face. Especially during this time of mourning.

But, ah, take a glance at the morning headlines. Matt....! It can't be....!

But, like, WE were right, weren't we? I mean, we kinda figured that those silly liberals would fall like domino's, right?
