When Donald Trump appointed John Kelly as chief of staff in July, the four-star Marine general arrived with a mandate to bring order to a freewheeling West Wing. Gone are the days of staffers waltzing into the Oval Office to lobby the president on policy or supply him with gossip. Trump still tweets, of course, but for the most part Kelly’s cleanup has been successful, according to interviews with a half dozen Trump advisers, current and former West Wing officials, and Republicans close to the administration. The aide who has ceded the most influence in the Kelly era, these people said, is Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner. “Kelly has clipped his wings,” one high-level Republican in frequent contact with the White House told me. https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2017/11/jared-kushner-horizons-are-collapsing-within-the-west-wing |

Jared has committed the ultimate sin for a member of the inner-circle - he got caught. For someone who's been assigned more duties and responsibilities then Trump's entire cabinet, he's not too bright, not to mention his personal finances are questionable at best. Oh well, Like father, like son. |

Trump's son, daughter, and son-in-law are potentially vulnerable points in the upcoming negotiations with Congress about the future of the administration. Both Jared and Don Jr. seem highly vulnerable to criminal charges based on the facts that are public so far. Trump will want the charges dropped or he will be forced to pardon the kids, something that would severely damage the GOP in2018 and might even be the beginning of formal impeachment. If there was ever a time for the Great Dealmaker to work his magic, it is coming up soon. |

TRUMP'S SON-IN-LAW ‘NATURAL’ TARGET FOR RUSSIA PROBE, LEGAL EXPERTS SAY Senior White House adviser Jared Kushner’s failure to properly list foreign contacts on his national security clearance forms and his vast financial holdings make him a “natural” target for special counsel Robert Mueller’s team, legal experts told Newsweek. |

Does anyone think that "PRESIDENT DUMB A$$" would throw his favorite Son in Law under the bus? Read and ponder... "President Trump is reportedly blaming White House adviser Jared Kushner for his role in decisions that led to the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller, according to a new report by Vanity Fair. In a call Tuesday to former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon, Trump put blame on Kushner for the part he took in choices to fire former national security adviser Michael Flynn and former FBI director James Comey, Vanity Fair reported. Roger Stone, a longtime Trump ally, also recently said Kushner wasn't giving Trump good advice — a sentiment which Trump reportedly agreed with, according to someone familiar with the conversation." http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/358248-vanity-fair-trump-blaming-kushner-for-mueller-investigation |

Kushner is apparently a smart guy. He has had lots of business experience and a squad of the best lawyers money can buy. How he managed to blunder into the activities and failures to disclose which even he and his lawyers openly admit happened is hard to understand. It is a pattern to be seen in other Trump family members and top officials like Jefferson Sessions as well. All those people must have known better. Surely their legal advisors would have warned them of the risks. Something is odd here. |

I'm, confused? You must not be aware of the fact Jared's father Charles Kushner served time in Federal Prison for fraud, tax evasion, money laundering, witness tampering and about a dozen other charges. "Like father like son in law" ^Another bovine excrement moment from peewee ![]() Herb, what's bovine excrement? Not sure dear, but it sounds delicious. |
