Conservatives Brace For A Year End Debacle

Conservatives are bracing for a year end debacle in as the reality of a lack of a major legislative accomplishment this session becomes a reality.

Let's see:

Trump was going to be too busy to play golf but to date he's played 81 times vice 24 for Obama during the same time.

ObamaCare repealed = NOT!

Infrastructure being rebuilt = NOT!

ISIS defeated = NOT!

America more respected worldwide = NOT!

Coal rebounding = NOT!

And now:

Congress returns to nightmare December; http://thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/senate/361602-congress-returns-to-nightmare-december?rnd=1511779765

"Lawmakers are bracing for chaos in December as they plunge into several high-stakes legislative fights.

Both chambers are expected to be in session for roughly 15 days before leaving town until January, but the looming battles could push their exit date closer to Christmas.

Republicans want to get a key agenda item, tax reform, to President Trump’s desk by the end of the year.

That would be a daunting task even under the best of circumstances — but Republicans are also facing a Dec. 8 deadline to avoid a government shutdown, with fights over immigration and healthcare also crowding onto the agenda."

This certainly won't help:

Trump may face a reckoning in case brought by female accuser http://wapo.st/2AtJhwQ?tid=ss_tw&utm_term=.7cfc7d65f775

"As the nation wrestles with a historic shift in how to address old charges of sexual misbehavior, allegations against Trump, which date to his days as a New York developer, have become part of the public debate. Trump has repeatedly said the accusations against him are groundless. But by turning personal and branding the women liars, Trump has perhaps unwittingly played into a cutting-edge strategy in the legal pursuit of sexual misconduct — claims of defamation such as those used against comedian Bill Cosby and in a lesser-known New York case, argued by two lawyers who are now representing Zervos.

The defamation suit filed in January in New York State Supreme Court by Zervos, a short-lived contestant on “The Apprentice,” has reached a critical point, with oral arguments over Trump’s motion to dismiss scheduled for Tuesday, after which the judge is expected to rule on whether the case may move forward."

Sorry but I believe that the Republicans are the one's digging a hole for themselves by supporting a pedophile for Senate, abiding a clown in the White House and pushing a tax bill that the vast majority of Americans don't want and which even conservative economists say will add between a half a trillion to a trillion and a half dollars to the deficit!

Trump Jr. meets with House intelligence panel on Russia http://fxn.ws/2BGXZAb

"Donald Trump Jr. met for more than 10 hours on Wednesday with a House committee investigating whether Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential race, but left without speaking to reporters about what was discussed.

Trump Jr., the eldest son of President Donald Trump, likely faced questions about his family’s financial ties to Russia and other issues related to the House intelligence committee’s investigation -- including the meeting with lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, who was said to have information on the Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Remarkably, the right things were happening. Weinstein was being disgraced and disowned, and his accusers applauded for their bravery. Obamacare is all but dead, most of Obama's regulations have been rescinded, the stock market continues to boom, the economy is finally growing at over 3% and the corporate tax rate is finally at a competitive level. I can't wait for my tax cut. The federal government is going to have to go on a diet.

Times are good, that's why liberals are miserable.

ObamaCare is all but dead in your imagination, the only thing rescinded is the individual mandate and the entire tax "reform" is about to be challenged in court based on whether or not it is Constitutional, so take my advice, lay off the Kool-Aid and the mental masturbation.

I don't drink Koop Aid, too much sugar. I also don't need your advice, I'm a very comfortable suburbanite, I lead a very rewarding life. It's my reward for working hard all my life. I want for nothing, I travel at will, have great healthcare, plenty of toys, nice cars, plenty of money..... life is good when you're a conservative! Thanks to Trump I'll keep even more of what I earn! That is awesome!?

Five key decisions for the GOP on healthcare; http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/366528-five-key-decisions-for-the-gop-on-healthcare

"Republicans have repealed ObamaCare’s individual mandate, but they still have a number of decisions to make on health care in the coming year.

Even without the unpopular mandate, the health care law is still largely in effect, with nearly 9 million people enrolled in private plans for 2018.

And beyond ObamaCare, Republicans could seek action on entitlement reform and drug pricing in 2018."
