Conservatives are bracing for a year end debacle in as the reality of a lack of a major legislative accomplishment this session becomes a reality.

Let's see:

Trump was going to be too busy to play golf but to date he's played 81 times vice 24 for Obama during the same time.

ObamaCare repealed = NOT!

Infrastructure being rebuilt = NOT!

ISIS defeated = NOT!

America more respected worldwide = NOT!

Coal rebounding = NOT!

And now:

Congress returns to nightmare December; http://thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/senate/361602-congress-returns-to-nightmare-december?rnd=1511779765

"Lawmakers are bracing for chaos in December as they plunge into several high-stakes legislative fights.

Both chambers are expected to be in session for roughly 15 days before leaving town until January, but the looming battles could push their exit date closer to Christmas.

Republicans want to get a key agenda item, tax reform, to President Trump’s desk by the end of the year.

That would be a daunting task even under the best of circumstances — but Republicans are also facing a Dec. 8 deadline to avoid a government shutdown, with fights over immigration and healthcare also crowding onto the agenda."

Trump has bigger problems than John McCain:

Veterans group urges people to report Trump's nuclear war tweet to save millions of lives http://www.newsweek.com/trumps-tweet-should-be-reported-save-american-troops-and-millions-lives-says-769281

"A group representing U.S. military veterans has urged American voters to report President Donald Trump’s nuclear button tweet as “a violent threat” on behalf of troops and the “millions more who would die if war breaks out.”

Vote Vets, which states in its Twitter bio that it is blocked by Trump, put out the tweet following the president’s Tuesday message on North Korea.“
VoteVets was created in 2006 by a pair of unemployed progressive liberals in Oregon to make PAC money........... :oyvey
You need to be now focusing on the new Bannon / Wolf book, that's the current debacle.
I'm focusing more on the DOW, it just crossed 25000. Is this the debacle your are referring to?

Most Americans don't benefit directly from where the DOW, S&P and NASDAQ are or aren't.

I know it may be hard to believe but 70% of the American people don't approve of Trump and, frankly, find him an EMBARASSMENT!

Every American in a pension plan, a 401K, IRA or money in the market is benefitting. Also, more people working at higher wages means more money available to keep all our liberal entitlement programs afloat. We all win, that's why you are miserable. How's the socialist utopia in Venezuela doing?

That's not directly and they won't have access to that money till they retire.

In the meantime the rest of the cost of making it is still there to be faced every day of the week and the big $1,000.00 they'll get in tax breaks will be wiped out when their medical insurance spikes, as it is, just before the 2018 midterms!

Venezuelan criminals have begun using food to recruit children into gangs

Venezuelan gangs are no longer recruiting youths in some poor areas by offering them easy money to buy clothes or the latest cell phones. Instead, they are offering food baskets.

Another socialist success story! That's the Bernie Sanders plan for us. They have also defaulted on their debt. It's going to get even worse. I really feel for the good people there. Che doesn't post much about Venezuela anymore, I wonder why?

Stelter: This is bigger than Trump vs. Bannon; it's about Trump's capability http://money.cnn.com/2018/01/04/media/michael-wolff-fire-and-fury-president-trump-fitness

"The first headlines from Michael Wolff's book "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House" were about Steve Bannon's shocking quotes. With the Bannon v. Trump feud dominating the news cycle, some of Trump's aides and media allies dismissed the stories as "gossipy" and "tabloid."

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders used both words at her briefing on Thursday, saying the book was "full of tabloid gossip."

"It's just a salacious book. It's so tabloid," "Fox & Friends" co-host Ainsley Earhardt said Thursday. She asked viewers: "Do you really care?"

Yes, many people do care. Pre-orders of the book have sent the book soaring to No. 1 on Amazon's best sellers list. It's now coming out on Friday, four days earlier than planned.

But the coverage of the "salacious" details misses the bigger, more important point of Wolff's reporting.

The excerpts published so far leave little doubt: The book suggests that President Trump is unstable and raises alarms about his fitness for office."
